Thanks to free podcasts, I enjoy an UNLIMITED supply of dance music from the following:Oxidane wrote:What is your workout music?

Techtronic Independent Dance Music

It's constant motivation for me...never gets old.
Try it!
Of course there are other options.
What about Country Music? Not thing really.
Or good old 80's Synth.
I once did some boxing, and I was using some Gary Numan, which was different
Generally I don't use music to workout. at home it's the TV, and at the Gym, it's two plasmas blurting out stuff like Hits Factory or TMF, so no point.
However when I box, something like Led Zeppelin works well for me, but nothing on the weights.

While it is true that I do listen to classical music 98% of the time when working out, I do think that song is killer. IIRC, its title is just "Bodies". The band is Drowning Pool.Oxidane wrote: Let the bodies hit the floor (forget who sings it?)
Maroon 5, did a collaboration with Rhianna recently. I don't like plastic pop acts lke her, I feel they make money on too much hype and looks, and she could get dumped on the heap within 10 years.
They made a poor choice in opnion, when they could have used a better individual, like Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain, Gabriella Cilmi etc etc. Bascially someone with more musical ability, and much better career prospects than Rhianna. I like Maroon 5, but not their new song. Let themsleves down I feel.

I like hard music when I workout with heavy weights. Cardio I listen to alot of rap. So it all depends on what I am doing for that day. Saliva, Rob Zombie, Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Triple 6 Mafia Lil Scrappy, Ying Yang Twins. No country that shit is depressing i dont feel like hearing about someone losing their only love or their dog got ran over or some junk like that. LOL
