First of all... Good job on deciding to take the steps to become more fit and healthy. It can be pretty intimidating when youre new... this forum will be a great help if you stick with it and ask as many questions as possible. :)

For basic info on your diet swanso has put together a very informative article in the diet/nutrition section. You should go there and read that first to get you started. After reading that you'll probably have questions.. come back and ask any questions/concerns afterwards.

Its really funny to me that you keep referring to yourself as a "noob". That word is cracking me up!

A good basic workout to get you started would be weights 3 days a week and intense cardio for 2-3 days (or intense cardio 2 days a week with steady state cardio one day). For weights there are some great exercises to get you started that just use your body weight so you really don't need all of that fancy equipment to get started... actually I don't use that fancy equipment at all as I've found the best exercises use stuff like dumbells, barbells, and benches.

Any questions?

i'd say do 4 weeks of 'your body is a barbell" by alwyn cosgrove then "the waterbury methiod" by chad waterbury

no exercise improves reflexes...just practice more
