Your body is most likely craving that kind of stuff because its accustomed to having it. Once you cut unhealthy foods out of your diet your cravings should decrease. It usually takes about 2 weeks for cravings to go away after cutting them out. Soooo... the 2 weeks after you've cut them tends to be pretty hard then it gets easier after that. After a while you may even get to a point where you're so used to eating healthy foods that the other crap doesn't even really look good to you. So.. best advice... while your cutting out foods like grease and sugar you must try really hard not to give in to your cravings. If you must give in treat yourself and then go back to the healthy foods.

Yes, like houston said... skinless grilled chickend breast is a GREAT alternative to fried chicken. Post some of the other foods that you often crave and we can suggest some healthy alternatives to those also if you'd like. Once you've been doing this for a while you come up with all sorts of healthier alternatives to typically unhealthy foods!

I hope this helps! :)

Food Cravings....

Post by ladykisses23 »

Fast Food is TOTALLY PACKED with artificial preservatives, sodium, MSG, hydrogenated oils, fat and other chemicals. This isn't JUST Mcdonald's I'm talking about this is MOST almost ALL fast food. You are feeling the effects of withdrawl from this food. Oh I forgot to mention that fast food is jammed with sugar as well.
Like quitting smoking or drugs, You are going to have to get through the withdrawl period first. Your body needs to learn how to function again without all this crap that it has become so accustomed to.

You could always just start acting like a man/women and deal with it. You wanna know about hunger pains? Alright let me tell you. I'm an 18 year old and I did a super hardcore metabolic rate test thing by John Berardi or Bernardi. It said metabolism on a lifting day burns through 3800 cals. That is for right now, back in the day I used to do lifting that burned that many plus jog/sprint session that lasted 30 minutes and I was only eating about 1200-1500 calories a day not eating any sort of fast food or pizza. results were shitty of course but don't tell me about any craving bull. Plus grandpa on fathers side was in the holocaust so I could tell you his stories too. I'm not Jewish FYI.

You can fry chicken yes, but do it at home in a Pan or Wok, not covered in Fat or Breadcrumbs, and use something like Coconut Oil, or Peanut Oil as examples, but not olive oil, as the heating process makes it toxic.

Not entirely sure. It's some kind of Chemical reaction, which occurs when Olive Oil is exposed to heat. It makes it toxic, (Carcinogenic), although the negative effects it could exert on the Human body, when in that state, would depend on quantity used, frequency of use, and for how many years.

Most Fats when cooked will lose some content, O O goes toxic, but only Coconut Oil is Heat stable, (no loss of fat content when cooking), and the Fats convert to energy, and shouldn't store, except possibly in very high levels.

well i know that olive oil secretes toxic substances when you fry it, but also is the oil that resist higher temperatures before start to generate this ones
any other oil also will secretes toxic substances before the olive oil, anyway
i think you best option is to boiled your chicken breast
