Hey good job on the success you've had so far!

Remember to drink LOTS of water!! Especially with as much exercise as you've been doing lately. Water accounts for about 60% of your total body weight. If you're not drinking lots to compensate for all that exercise you could be seeing false gains as far as weight loss goes as you could just be losing water weight and not actually fat. Not saying that this is the case... just wanted to mention that to make sure youre not dehydrating yourself. :)

Well its sounds like you're going to keep up the numerous workouts. We can't (obviously) stop you from working out too much. Just remember that your body needs rest to recover after a workout to promote muscle repair... when you lift you are actually breaking your muscles down. In order for them to recover and get stronger you must let them rest. :)

As for the sprinting... I have a bad knee as well (just screwed it up again a couple weeks ago) and sprinting kills it. In order to avoid the pounding induced by running (and sprinting) I have been getting on the elliptical and just going as hard as I can on that with intervals (alternating between fast and slow speeds and resistance). Its not as good as sprinting but it is better than just slow steady cardio. The same thing can be done on a bike, stairstepper, or by swimming in one of those lakes you've been walking around so often. Swimming would be great on that knee!

I'm glad you're so motivated to make these changes! Just remember that sometimes less is more. Id hate to see you overdo it and burn yourself out. Then you would be right back where you started from. You want these healthy changes to be lifestyle changes... not just a temporary phase. :)

- more is not better...better quality is better
- walking does not effect metabolism at all....how many fat people do you see walking?
- 2 wt days is better, 3 is best...1 day means you'll damage the muscle (good), build it back up before your next workout (good) but the 7 days btw sessions means that it will shrink back to it's normal size so you don;t gain anything in the end
