If you're planning on doing it in a healthy manner and you want to keep the weight off after losing it all its not a good idea to try to take it off that rapidly. Lets say thats a solid 6 months.... 100 lbs/6 months= about 16 lbs a month that you would have to lose. This is about 4 lbs a week (healthy weight loss is about 1-2 lbs/week). Remember 1 lb of fat equals 3500 calories so you would need to burn 1000 more calories A DAY than you would be consuming. Thats a lot of calories! Theres just no healthy way to cut that many calories a day for 6 months.

A better plan would be to give yourself atleast a year to get that weight off. Keep in mind that as you progress its going to be harder and harder to lose the weight as your body will adapt to your diet and workout plan as you go.

Hope this helps. :)

Agreed. 4lbs a week is the most you could expect to lose that's just Fat, and you'd probably need to be at least 300lb+ to make that happen. You can't force the body to give you more Fat than it can, because if you try to force the body to give up weight, you risk muscle, and other things you want to keep.
