Machine Workouts

Post by egooder »

Now I know that everyone will tell me that free weights are the way to go and I do understand and will get to them. But now I am sticking on machines and enjoying it. I have a pretty set schedule set and am hoping that I am getting the results I need. Here is work out below

Monday - Chest and Bi's I do about 4 different machines for Chest and Bi's I use the cable machine and do about 3 different excerises.

Tuesday - Legs - I do a full leg work out and do about 5 machines

Wednesday - Tri's and Traps - Tri's I do 3 different excerises on the cable machine and traps I do shurgs and row on the same machine.

Thursday - Shoulder & Back - Each area 3 different machines.

I do 3 sets of 12 reps increasing weight after each rep.

question is do you think I am heading down the right track and see the results I am looking for. I want to tone and build musle nothing to big. Do plan on going to free weights soon but need to get in the habit of working out the correct way.

Thanks for any help

Do you want to enjoy it but not see any gains? Or would you rather not enjoy it, and then enjoy your gains which would in turn make you enjoy your workout because you know you are getting results?

Honest answerer : your workout routine sucks, only machine sucks, your diet surely sucks too and a little proverb to finish this : No pain no gain or "Everyone wants to be a bodybuilder, but no one wants to lift heavy shit"

Gentle Answer : Your workout routine needs work on, only using machine will lead to poor muscles development and surely some posture trouble and we need to look at your diet too, because diet is the key to mass gain.
