Dips

Post by Patrick »

Hey guys ive got fairly strong tris and i can do sets with 45 lbs attached but when i finish i feel alot of strain on traps/shoulders and elbows i dont think this strain is good on joints i was wondering if i should be feeling this and if so may it cause longterm problems

dips can do that...is it strain or pain? they're not great for shoulders either...make sure as you go down that your keeping your shoulders blades pushed down and together...you may not be able to do as much wt like this but it;s the right way to do them...don't let your traps shrug upwards

just like how your mum used to say sit up straight where'd you pull your shoulders back, also pull them down, and stick your chest out...this should have your shoulder blades also pulled down and back together a little...do it now...you should go back to bw dips and do this
