So I've stopped going to the gym for a while now and slacked on normally healthy diet. Gained 10 lbs. Started at 185, dropped to 155, back up to 165 currently. Now I'm wondering if I start to go to the gym should I lose weight a bit faster since I had already lost it before?

Anyway, how do you get back into the groove after a long break? I used to go every second day and was proud to take shirt off. Now it's not SO bad, but I'm regaining former fleshy chest('moobs') and a bit of a lower (a BIT, abs are holding up pretty well).

I know I should probably just man up and get back into healthier diet and pay for renewing gym membership so I don't end up not going. At least I didn't fall back into pop drinking.

- you might, you might not...the point is to simply lose the wt regardless of time frames
- those things you mentioned should be more then enough motivation to go in book...if they aren't then find "your pain" and develop a goal from that (play with kids, get a missus etc)

Defintely go back to the healthy diet, and just hit the gym man. There is no "easy road" to getting back in shape.

True. Forget worrying about if and when it will come back, just crack on, get the resolve back, and time and patience will get you there. It's the long haul for life dude.

Good health preservation should be with you always, a life long pursuit, so no funking about will you get back to 155 again, and how and when, it will all be part of the greater scheme of things.

Good luck.
