General question about calory intake...

Im 5'7" and weigh 195lbs. I would like to lose about 20lbs.

What i've read says i should eat like 2000-2500 calories per day. I have been eating a strict diet of

-eggs
-tuna
-oatmeal
-spinach
-salad
-brown rice
-chicken breast
-protein shakes (post workout)
-fruits
-veggies

I feel satisfied eating around 1600 calories per day. Will I be able to lose weight faster if i eat only 1200-1600 calories per day and work out, or do i HAVE to eat over 2000 calories???

well start at 15 cal's per pound of bodyweight and gradually decrease when you stop losing wt...don;t go down that low straight away

Hum, maybe I'm weird but at around 2500-2600 i've lost fat last summer ...

1600 cals is way too low unless your already really skinny ...

Carbs timing and little calories deficit + compouds exercises and sprints + Healthy fats and water and veggies = Fat lost.
