Chinups and pullups

Post by Frederick »

Hi everyone I have read that chin ups and pull ups are the best exercises for developing great biceps and back but problem is that I work out at home and don't have anywhere to do these exercises. So I was wondering if anyone could help me find a pull up bar on the web that has a price range between $15-$30 since I am short on cash.

I use "squat rack" for this lol,

but for 15 bucks don't worry you can get a door bar, does most of the job, but you can't go wide grip for pull-ups ...

If you dont happen to find one offline, any sporting goods store should have pullup.chinup bars for about 25$ (I bought mine last week from dick's sportng goods).
I dont have a problem with pullups in door frame. Of course i cant use an extremly wide grip, but enough.

and if all fails
there are playgrounds with things to hang off of to do pull/chin ups lol.

You also need to have a good sized door frame. If you have door frames lower than 7 foot, that's a problem with range of motion and possibly hurting your Head, dependant on where the Bar is fixed in.

Doubt you can find one for that price range.

Either go to a gym, your local park, or buy the makers who make the "perfect push up." I just saw recently a commercial where they have this gadget called the "perfect pull up."

that perfect pull up is expensive and it is probally not any more beneficial than just doing normal pull ups and chin ups
