veggie here help

Post by slimjinxs »

Hi im new to this site and have been working out for a couple of months, i am a full veggie therefore i do not eat any animal products at all, at the moment i go to the gym every few days im a full time single dad and study 3 days a week so not in the gym all the time, when i do i try and at least 40-60 mins of cardio and various upper and lower body machines,i was 12 stone 3 weeks ago i have gone down to 11 stone, i have a soya protein shake within the hour after a workout i do benchpress at home and some bicip curls and sit ups and crunches, i am 99%clean of junk food do not smoke nor drink alcohol, im not a very strong person muscle wise and basically just want to tone up not bulk out, i have fruit most days and two pieces of toast the best of both kind in the uk made by hovis, sometimes cereal in the morning. i guess that is it of diet i do have main meals sometimes but again veggie diet e.g quorn and soy. Im not sure but to be honest im not really seeing much difference in body shape im getting frustrated and lower ab area is still flabby even with the ab workouts i do, i do them to failure and they hurt afterwards but again im not really seeing the results i thought i would, could this be to do with diet??? any advice would really help thanks everyone from Nick.

- free wts mate, no machines
- get that rpotein ion as soon as you can taking with you to gym if needed...they can store in fridge for you
- what do you do at the gym and what do you do at home? you probably need a full program made up so you don;t overlap anywhwere
- strength is the base for everything (fat loss, muscle gain, endurance, power etc) without it, these will be hard to get
- everyone can do with a more muscle, i hate when people say i don't want to build up
- puorn is a protein substitute yes?
- ab workouts are terrible and don't so anything
- post entire trainign and eating plan that you are on now as well a list of equipment and wts you have at home to work with...is there enough wt at home for it to be heavy for you etc
