Diet Soda Question
I use to drink like 6 pack or more of regular Soda a day i went cold turkey. question is it ok to drink 1 Diet Soda a day
All foods/beverages are ok in moderation. I think it's unrealistic to say that you'll never have a specific food or beverage. As long as your overall diet is healthy, a diet soda a day should not be a problem. Just be sure to have plenty of water, skim or low fat milk, and 100% fruit juices more than you have diet sodas.
Re: Diet soda
Carcinogen content depends on the sweetener.rebe wrote:Artificial sweetner does have carcinogen causing substances in it. Technically it's harmless to your waist line, but if you really want to get healthy, chhose water which flushed out harmful bacteria.

are you getting other sources of caffeine? going cold turkey after consuming that much is really bad, and causes withdraws. dont completely cut it out. cut down and slowly work your way out of it

The carciogenic hoo haa, about things like Phenylalanine in diet drinks, has been over played. Yes, the evidence suggests it is so, I won't say it isn't, or can't happen, but 1 can a day won't cause you major grief, either from the Sweetner, or the Caffeine.
I drink stuff like Diet Coke at work, (other diet drinks are available
), but on days when I don't, I never feel the effects of no Caffeine or anything that's in it. I drink it for taste not stimulatory content
Frankly I do that to have something in day, that's got some real taste, so personally I say, it's not as good for you as Water, but one or perhaps two a day, isn't going to begger up your innards. Just don't go nutso on them, and drink them like they're going out of style, and where possible have something like Water, Skimmed Milk, or maybe those bottled Juice drinks, that come from concentrate, like Innocent Smoothies, or Del Monte Juice Bar as examples, that should have just fruit based content, no added extras.

Boss do you still agree with this comment. It is from quite a while ago.Boss Man wrote:The carciogenic hoo haa, about things like Phenylalanine in diet drinks, has been over played. Re: Diet Soda Question
I do still agree and although I haven't drunk Diet Coke for some time, viewpoint still remains.
