There are different types.
Typical ones include
Whey Concentrrate.
Whey Isolate
Soy.
Casein
There's also a type made from the Amino Acids in Cottage Cheese.
Isolate contains less Casein as it's more filtered, so you get about 10-15% less Casein in it.
The cheapest thing to do is just get a Concentrate and one with something like Maltodextrin, high GI complex Carbs will do it, or you could try to find one with a combination simple / Complex Carb, like Palatinose or Glucomannan.

Never heard of that.
Soy contains Isoflavones, a type of Flavanoid. One primary role occurs in Women, where Isolflavones bind to Oestrogen receptor cells, as they are genetically very similar to Oestrogen, which means that can help to negate possible problems, from excessive Oestrogen production in Women.
Having therefore the ability to block to some extent, the actions of Oestrogen in Women, I fail to see how it would affect Test, unless it promoted Oestrogen activity in Men. but then that would be characterised possibly by increased Gyno for one thing.
In which case a man might have to take things lke Anti-Oestrogen products. I think two such products are Nolvadex, (Nolva), and Clomid.

Whey Protein
I have been using a Whey Protein offered through MyNutritionStore.com called Whey Science, and it has been working great for me. It's all natural with no rBGH, no artifical sweeteners and no sugar.
