:roll: hello everyone. first i must say how great this website is to those who are barelly starting with the workout and fat loss crave. i think this is a great site. Iam 6' 0" 300lb. guy with a 28% body fat. i am currently in the military and number has been picked out to serve country overseas. I would love nothing more then to loose 30+ lbs before i leave in july. I have a complete gym at work. i have the money to buy what i need to buy. and i have the desire to do what i have to do. but unfortunatley i dont have the know how on were to start. what to eat. you know us hispanic folks love there mexican foods. i have tried ballys and others. but i give up. i get frustrated not knowing what to do. can anyone please help me!!!!!!!

Hey, us non-Hispanic folks love the Mexican food too, but it is very high in fat and will do nothing to help you lose the weight. You need to start by cutting out all the high fat food and sugar and you need to get up and moving. Walking is the best exercise for beginners. Begin by walking 10 mins per day for a week and up it 5-10 every week until you get to an hour. And please, do walk as quickly as your body will allow.
Exercise and fitness is a commitment and one that needs to be respected for the rest of your life. You have to ask yourself what is more important--eating all that fat food and being overweight and unhealthy or eating right and feeling and looking much much better (I hope the latter). Good luck.
