I was reading the nutritional value on a flapjack today after I had been doing boxing training at lunch (and was extremely hungry). Post workout are flapjacks potentially any good for you? high sugar content, good, fibre, oats (complex carbs i think), moderate (but not enough, so had a decent sandwich) amount of protein (7g) also good? Pretty high in fat too, bad. Better than a chocolate bar surely?
I only had the option of what the canteen had to offer in addition to sandwich and fruit: crisps, chocolate, flapjack, cake, scones etc
