Why. Bulking for 90-120 minutes is almost certainly counter productive.

Good bulk routines should last about 1hr max.

I'd go for something with Compound stuff to save time, and give yourself around 60-90 seconds rest between sets, as an example of a basic synopsis.

1 - quality over quantity

m'kay, thanks once again you two :)

is it just me but like 60-90 s between sets seems like such a long time! i prefer to give it about 30s, also this way its harder...and otherwise workout gets longer, just kind of confused on these two points :)

How do you figure that. If you're cutting 30-60 minutes off a workout time, you can afford to add back in, another 30-60 seconds on breaks.

well the more rest you have the more wt you can use with each successive set you do

onr thing try are pairs which gives you the best of both worlds as you only have short rest rests between overall sets but extended rest between sets of the same exercise like this:

row set
rest 45secs
bench set
rest 45secs

say that each takes 20secs or so to perform you'd have 90 - 110secs rest between each set of each exercise

Alright cheers guys.
Also by looking at some other posts here i've got the idea its impossible (or very hard) to maintain a sixpack, but put on muscle around other places (i think this is called pinpointing?)
Just wondering cause Im going to the reading festival on birthday and wouldnt mind being a bit bigger, but wanting six pack still :D

Thanks

Okay, if i have a pure protein supplement mixed with milk (whey protein) Will it decrease any chances of me maintaining mid section?

thanks again!!

Not necessarily, unless there's Fat in the Milk, but the Casein in Milk may slow down absorption of the shake anyway, so why bother? Use Water and increase absorption, especially if it's one with Carbs in.

Plus adding Milk increase the Calories, which could help bulking, but could possibly also counteract some of your leanness, depending on how the body reacts to some or all of the Milk Calories.
