Whats your Opinion?
Whats your opinion on venison? I have been told it has alot of protein. I have taken a few deer this year and was curious if I would be able to mix it in diet? What about other game meats? Quail, Pheasant, Rabbit?

He is French Canadian I believe. Horse is typically a French Cuisine. Same as Snails and Frogs Legs.
I personally don't agree with Venison or Horse eating. I believe farmed animals and game, (Turkey, Chicken, Pig, Lamb, Sheep etc etc), are okay to be a consumed flesh source. Wild animals and fowl, or those most considered pets like Rabbits, Hares, Horses, Ducks, Geese, Deer, etc etc, should be allowed to roam wild, or kept as pets, and not be killed.
I also don't agree with certain animals like Geese, Ducks, Deer etc etc, having wild and farmed breeds, as it isn't a mans right to decide if one species of duck is wild, one is allowed to be eaten, you either have all wild species or all farmed. We don't have a kill or live policy with ourselves, except possibly with people on life support, who might not ever recover, but we still decide on whether some animals or fowl live, other types of the same animal or fowl don't.
That's personal opinion, not a broadside at people who eat those flesh sources.
Venison is fine to consume, might be a bit pricey though, and when you have potentially cheaper things like Chicken for example, you better off financially buying things like that.

WOW thats pretty cool that you can buy it in a grocery store....I just never thought of it that way. Im sure there are alot of people that dont think of eating venison or other animals. The price of venison around here is just the cost of a hunting license and rifle shells. Quebec City..huh I wa on a company trip to Ontario just last week. Beautiful country absolutely beautiful.
