hiii =] i have a few questions

Post by Layla »

im new and ive been reading some of the posts people have posted and they seem to get really helpful feedback so here i go.

well im 17, 5'8 and according to weight scale i weigh a little over 150...i had gained, i think almost 7 pounds since the summer unless scale is wrong...is that weight normal for age and height? im on the dance team this year...so is it possible that the weight is muscle? i didn't think so becausy can i rally gain 7 pounds from muscle? but anyways, i really want to lose some weight. the main spot i want to lose weight on is thigh area. is there any kind of exercise or diet that id have to do in order trim off thighs lol. also, i kind of have a after i eat. i know its normal but what can i do to get like a flat stomach?

on weekdays i wake up at about 7:00 am for school...
I eat breakfast at school at about 10:15 am
I either eat 2 cinnamon toasts and a small amount of cereal and milk or a bagel and cream cheese.
Then around 12:30 i eat lunch at school. I dont know if its healthy but sometimes i get a ham and cheese sandwich or a chicken patty or bean and cheese burrito with a small cup of powerade.
After that I sometimes don't eat until i get home which is around 6 or i might grab something to eat at dance practice.
i dont really have an exact schedule of what i eat after school.

well i hope gave helpful information...thank you :)

Just go for really healthy foods to lose fat/lbs. Plus what are you doing for cardio?

For leg weights do squats and dumbell lunges to build up legs. But your not just going to want to do legs because the more muscle you have the more you burn so I would do weight training 3x a week and cardio.

- there's no age/wt ratio...can you imagine Shaq at that age? was he "normal' and wt?
- if waist measurement is more than it's probaby more fat than muscle...if it's the same then probaby muscle
- maybe make tour meals smealler and more frequent instrad of having big meals to ease the bloating
- flat stomach from discilplined eating
- before you do anything you need to have breakfast and as soon as you get up...fruit and high fibre cerial/oatmeal/porridge etc...not something ull of sugar
- at 10am have fruit and some boild eggs
- a sandwhich is alright but get the chicken patty woth it if you can and have water over powerade not a good drink choice unless during / after activity...and add some veg and/or salad if you can
- tuna salad and veg before dancing or mid afternoon
- what does mum cook up for dinner? dessert?
