hi, i've always heard of arnold presses being a great exercise for developing shoulders... i was just wondering what is the difference between arnold press and a regular dumbell shoulder press?
and which parts of the shoulders do arnold press work on?
Well I've never done Arnolds, but I believe the basic movement, is Arms infront of the Shoulders, and then during the Pecs movement, you do a 180 degree twist.
Shoulder Presses, the Dumbbells are over the Shoulders and then you push upwards, no twisting.
i wouldn't put them ahead of normal shoulder presses as you can't use as much wt which is what it's all about...kjeep your palms facing wach other and shoulders right back like a bicep pose during regular shoulder presses for the same effect as arnold's but with more wt
