I got over-zealous on the assisted pull up machine the other day and I got a major case of DOMS. Any advice on how to get over it faster? I am stretching whenever I get a chance but coworkers are wondering why they keep seeing arms raise up over the cubicle.
I plan to do cardio today, ONLY!
Should I wait until the pain is completely gone before I return to the scene of the crime?

best thing is not to stretch (that only makes it worse) but do the same type of exercise at a very low intensity which in this case would be lat pulldowns 2 sets of 50 reps very, very light to get blood in the muscle which will transport the lactic acid / waste products out of there which is what causes the soreness...it;s probably too late now but a big feed after harder workourts is always optimal to rebuild what you just broke down and sleep
