Would dumbell squats work for squats.

if not doing bb squats or front squats then lunges would be a better choice than db squats

Your abs are like any other muscle group. Train them accordingly.

Abs are should the first muscles to be worked, because they are the largest muscle group.

This makes so much sense...i used to do alot of stumbling during lunges, but now i'm pretty steady, and now that you mention it, this must have alot to do with the fact that core is getting stronger with lifting heavier.

For sure but it remains that low BF% means sexy defined abs over exercises for direct isolation on ab .... Well you must know it if you're the guy on the avatar ! :wink:
