- Do you use 100%Whey Isolate Shake ?
- Do you use powder with carbs in ?
Because that would be, for me, easier to digest and cheaper to buy only protein, from egg isolate, whey adn miscalenar (not sure) casein and then in like 15-20 mins after make a cup of oatmeals for carbs and few more healthy fats/proteins (not tons tough)
Too, after a workout, the amount of "complex carbs" need to be around how many grams ?

50g Protein.
50 Carbs, (Maltodextrin).
I split it, and then use the rest later, as often when I've had half I'll go home and have something to eat.
Most drinks like this often last 24 hours after opening, before they start to go iffy.
If you can, you might find a customised blend to your liking.
So you could try Myprotein or Trueprotein. One sells in £££ the other in $$$.

mine is a mix of cesain and whey concentrate i think...no carbs added less than 5grams anyway...
you want about 70 - 100grams of carbs and 20 - 40grams of protein after training depending on your wt
i have about 30g whey in water and a big bowl of rice bubbles with about 400ml milk and sugar straight after training then 2 sausages in bread with veggies about 30mins later
so about 65g carbs and 40g protein straight after training and then about 30g carbs and 20g protein 30mins later
