16 Year old seeking advice :D

Post by davey »

Hey everyone, I am a 16 year guy in need of an effective workout and meal plan for fat loss. I am 60kg (132 pounds) 176cm tall (5.8feet), i need to lose body fat not weight and would appreciate any advice :D. I have access to free weights and skipping rope. I play tennis, table tennis, sometimes squash and occasionally practice basketball with brother.

aim is to lose body fat around Stomach/, glutes(butt) and to strengthen arms and legs for sport.

Diet is biggest obstacle i am a ceoliac and i have eczema so some foods trigger a reaction eg chocolate watermelon by itself, celery, shell fish, and most foods with preservatives like chips ect.

This is roughly what i am trying to do for meals.

Meal 1 - Cornflakes with milk and banana
Meal 2- Yogurt with fruit
Meal 3- Meat and salad wrap with mayo and a peice of fruit.
Meal 4- What ever i cook for dinner.
I need more ideas for meals.

Any workout plans would be greatly appreciated just to get me in the right direction.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me!

you probably just need some more muscle...muscle burns fat anyway...dont diet either, just make better food choices and probably eat a little more

you need at least 5 meals a day and 7 is better

meals 1 - breaky as is, but a more high fibre cerial would be better like oatmeal or museli
meals 2 - 3 fruit and protein

- protein includes pork, turkey, chicken, steak, eggs, fish, tuna, sardines are the best one's

meals 4 - 6 have protein and veg/salad

for a workout search the Waterbury Method by Chad Waterbury

Thanx for your reply, i went and searched the workout plan and started it but stopped over christmas and am getting back into it!

The only problem with breakfast is as a ceoliac i find it hard to find a breakfast that is eatable as i cant eat oatmeals and gluten free museli tastes really bad.

what are your thoughts on a rowing machine dad wants one, would it be useful for me?

THank you again for your advice

basically you want a high fibre cerial...cornflakes etc are full of sugar and leave you feeling hungry 10mins later...we have "sport' cerials over here such as all bran, special k etc which have more fibre in them...look for one that has at the barest minimum 5 grams of fibre per serve and combined with fruit should be enough

Okay, if you're Celiac, then you could try this.

1. Have an Apple

Give it 15 minutes to Digest.

2. Scramble 3 Egg Whites + 1 Yolk, and then combine with some Baked Beans to increase your Carbs, and Proteins.

Simple easy, fast.

Another choice.

Bossman, did you mean that second meal for breakfast btw? and also, i am also 16 and have eczma, wanted to know what triggers the reactions. And also, banana's are wicked to have as a quick breakfast, they fill you up and have plenty of fibre in them.

1. Stress
2. Allergies
3. Athletes foot
4. Very dry skin
5. Smoking

I know this because I have eczma aswell unfortunately and I have to go to the doctors quite frequently, so I know the main things that can cause it :).

Hope this helps.

Yes. You allow the to Apple start digesting, for the time stated, then go for Breakfast part 2, with the Egg and Beans in it.

5'8'' 130 and you need to lose fat? Does anyone else think something is wrong with this.If anything you need to get bigger

Take protein and workout. Do some cardio for 25minutes+ And youll drop the fat. Eat low fat foods and eat properly
