Right the basics.

You cut Carbs to go Ketotonic during the week, then Carbo load at the weekend.

Cutting carbs in a Bodybuilder contest prep style way, uses body and dietry Fat, when Carbs are lacking for energy.

I don't think this method described on that thread is that good. Frankly you would probably get similar results being active, and trimming your Carbs down by say 30-50%, and doing that 7 days a week, but at least your Carbs would be there, in some way.

The Carb cut I just mentioned, would surely stimulate some Fat to energy conversion, if total Carb intake daily didn't match bodily Carb needs. Then the body would have to use extra Fat, either from the diet or Fat stores, making you not able to maintain current Fat levels, when you use some, or cannot replace what you deplete.

I think it would serve you better not to do that Keto Diet, but if you were going to, just do a basic Carbo cut, not cycle, just a cut, of about 30-50%, and see how that went. If you chose such action.

You'd probably see some sort of results, maybe after 2 weeks, definitely I'd expect after 3-4.

i didn't click the link but a 3 off w/ 30 grams of carbs or less a day, 1 on with high carbs schedule is probably better but only for looks...if you train for sport than this is the worse idea you can have

I'm considering going on a keto diet because, quite frankly, I think that's the only method that would work for me. I'm a heavy meat eater, so I guess wolfing down bacon, eggs, and steaks shouldn't be a problem. However, I'm not sure how I'm going to fare on lowering carbs intake. I'm a big pasta and pizza girl too, and I don't know if I can instantly drop them from diet. From what I understand, I'm supposed to cut down the carbs down to a minimum. I'm just wondering if any of you had a problem reducing your carbs. Did you feel weak? Lack concentration? I'm a mom, and I need all the energy I could get, so I'm afraid that keto will make me sluggish and useless at home. Any thoughts?
