Alli - FDA approve

Post by Nokie173 »

Ok, there’s a lot of talk about Alli in area b/c its FDA approve. question, does it really help? Did anybody tried? From what I read, it’s kind of telling you to eat right and exercise. (Isn’t that already the healthiest way of losing weight?) Is it really a boost to loose 50% more with Alli? Are there any opinions?

A lot of supplements are out for profit reasons dude.

Some supplements tell you to take more than you need, just to make you have more.

Some don't contain what they claim, or have the wrong levels of ingredients, and some are probably created purely to sell to people, because if you make enough people of a certain weight, weakness etc etc believe it's something wonderful, you use the right words, and build your product up to the max, you can amake any old crap look good, because too many people buy a product they no almost nothing about, except what people want them too.

As an example, I will when I get time, show you I could come up with something that you might want, if it was available.

Alli is one of those new diet supps.

Okay Dalton, this is how people might try to market stuff to you, you neither need, or want, by making you believe you want it.

New from Blade Nutrition, comes arguably one of our most premier cutting edge products to date.

Vol-U-Pump

Vol-U-Pump is not your ordinary product. Our futuristic technology, allows us to combine some of the finest muscle development ingredients, money can buy.

The main advantage to Vol-U-Pump, is that it is an advanced combination of NO, Kre-alkalyn Creatine, and 5-HTP, all coupled together in one unique volumising blend, that will max your Pumps like never before.

No and Creatine have been cleverly combined, to greatly expand your Bloodvessels, and boost your energy levels, so you have the required energy releases and vascular capacity, you need, to accellerate blood into your muscles, faster, harder, and more precisely, than any other similar product of its type.

5-HTP increases your Seratonin levels, to relax you, allowing you to be more zoned in to your workouts, to help maximise your concentration, and muscle responsiveness.

The patented soluble blend, mixes almost lightening fast in water, with virtually zero after taste, so no need to worry about temporary side effects, to oral receptors.

Vol-U-Pump is what your muscles have always wanted, but have never be allowed to have, until now!!!

If you want insanely mindblowing pumps, and growth potential, that can almost rival prohormones, it has to be Vol-U-Pump.

Sizes include 500g, 1kg and 2.5kg.

500g, 3 week supply, normally $40, but order before 1st March 2008, and get 500g for just $22, yes just $22.

Blade Nutrition products, the best your body can get.

No Dalton what I posted wasn't real.

I'll explain the way I could have sucked you in there, and it seems I nearly did. I posted that to prove how a company can sell you stuff, that you might not need or want.

(Flashy company name, to make you think the products might be cool as well)

Vol-U-Pump

(Flashy Product name to make you want it straight away)

Vol-U-Pump is not your ordinary product. Our futuristic technology, allows us to combine some of the finest muscle development ingredients, money can buy.

(Futuristic technology, just words. You'd almost never get to know what that technology actually was)

The main advantage to Vol-U-Pump, is that it is an advanced combination of NO, Kre-alkalyn Creatine, and 5-HTP, all coupled together in one unique volumising blend, that will max your Pumps like never before.

(Advanced combination, yeah but most people wouldn't know how such things are combined anyway. I'm pretty sure nobody has created an NO-Cre mix with 5-HTP before, but just making any NO-Cre mix sound advanced is B.S.

No company will tell you how it's advanced process works, so realistically it could be the same process as anyone else. In this instance the product contains Kre-alkalyn with NO, and not Monohydrate, which would make the product better, but that's probably the only way.)

No and Creatine have been cleverly combined, to greatly expand your Bloodvessels, and boost your energy levels, so you have the required energy releases and vascular capacity, you need, to accellerate blood into your muscles, faster, harder, and more precisely, than any other similar product of its type.

(Again cleverly combined is just words. They could be combined in the same ways as other companies do, and you wouldn't know, I'm just making you think that thing, about the supposed better combining of NO and Cre, is real, by saying it again, but differently.

First I said "advanced process", then "cleverly combined", which like I say are just words. No company will tell you how they do this, so you've no proof its a better way of combining NO and Cre than other people use.)

5-HTP increases your Seratonin levels, to relax you, allowing you to be more zoned in to your workouts, to help maximise your concentration, and muscle responsiveness.

(5-HTP does do that, but zoning you into workouts, is like saying it works like Caffeine, which is not really true, it's releases Seratonin a mood hormone, it's not really a stimulant I don't think.)

The patented soluble blend, mixes almost lightening fast in water, with virtually zero after taste, so no need to worry about temporary side effects, to oral receptors.

(Oral receptors is a clever way of saying Taste Buds, and unless you eat strong Curries for years, or very hot drinks a lot, Taste bud side effects are usually only mild loss of taste, or possibly occasional pain increases. I doubt such eating habits would do anything else to the Tongue, so most mixable supplement powders, that taste bad, don't cause anything than a bad taste that stays for a while, certainly I would say no damage whatsoever to the surface of the Tongue.)

Vol-U-Pump is what your muscles have always wanted, but have never be allowed to have, until now!!!

(Total B.S. as in that case you could use something like NO-Explode, and then take 5-HTP seperately, probably exactly if not better results doing that.)

If you want insanely mindblowing pumps, and growth potential, that can almost rival prohormones, it has to be Vol-U-Pump.

(No evidence to support that, so if a company says it rivals anything else, it's just a claim with often no proof)

Sizes include 500g, 1kg and 2.5kg.

500g, 3 week supply, normally $40, but order before 1st March 2008, and get 500g for just $22, yes just $22.

(The regular price of $40 for a small 3 week tub, is to make you think it must be good for that price, but not too expensive, that you'll not want it. I'm selling you this size for nearly 50% off, to get you to want it.

If you buy it fast enough within that 2 month period, you'll get 1 tub, then after 3 weeks a second tub, then after 6 weeks a third, so if you end up after 2 months using your third 500g tub, you're going to be hooked, then ready to pay the higher prices.

If I sell you small tubs, at a great price, and you don't like it, getting rid of maybe 10-14 days worth to someone, for about $10, might be easier for you, and if they don't like it, at least they pay a lot less than they would, for a partly used larger tub, so they might want your leftover stuff more.

Plus you won't go on the internet and say bad stuff about it so much, if you only had to get rid of a little tub, not a bigger one that costs more, and if you buy 3 tubs of 500g at the promo price for 2 months, you'll pay more than you would for a 1kg tub at the standard price, so selling you that smaller size cheaply for a while, makes it easier to hook you, when you know if it's not working, you've spent less and have less to sell on or ditch.

If I try to give you a great deal on a 2.5kg tub, or a 1kg tub, I risk you possibly finding after a week or 10 days, you might not like it, then you've got 2kg's+ or about 75% of the 1kg tub left, (depending on which size you bought), to either sell to friends, or flog on E-bay for less than you paid, or just bin it.

Most people won't want a load of your leftover stuff, incase a week later they don't like it either, and get stuck with over 1.5kg's, or about 500g themselves.

That will piss you off having to get rid of over 2kg's, or 750g of powder you don't like using, and you might go on the internet and say loads of bad stuff about the product, potentially putting other people off it.)

Blade Nutrition products, the best your body can get.

(Anyone can say that about thier products, doesn't mean it's true)
I was showing you Dalton how companies sell you stuff that's possibly rubbish, because you said this.
Dalton85 wrote:i mean these supplements wouldnt be out if they didn't help a little right?
Supplements can sometimes do nothing, or at least if they do, be NO BETTER, than another similar product, so you need to know what you're buying, read proper no B.S. stuff from Messageboards, Bodybuilders or scientists, telling you they aren't promoting it, and are not offering you any special codes, offers or links to sites that sell it.

Hopefully you undestand everything I wrote in this post.

They do, though some do a lot less something than others. Practically to the point where something ends up being borderline nothing .

lift heavier wt and you'll get stronger

eatmorefood and you'll get bigger

do both and you'll get both

it's really very simple but it is a long slow process...supp'swillspeed things up by only about 2 weeks so it doesn't seem like a wise investment for mine

IF YOU CAN'T GET THE BASICS RIGHT, THEN THE SUPP'S WON'T WORK

think of it this way...you go out and by a ferrarri, top of the range...1 to 100 in 4secs, the top comesdown so you can wink at the ladies at the traffic lights, life is looking good...you goto drive off toimpress the honies but youdon't move...why? because you didn't put any petrol in it you fool!!! the most basic part of the process

Thanks for all your inputs. But I don’t understand why it is FDA approve? Is it for the marketing business? (must be....)

I got the point… NO supplements will compare to hard work… but Multivitamins is alright right?? What’s the differences?

People like the FDA approve loads of stuff. To understanding, pretty much anything that can be classed as an additive, sweetner, supplement, or herbal ingredient, can get a pass from the FDA, unless it hospitalises or kills someone they test it on.

I daresay if someone put something like Cats Urine in a Gel capsule, and claimed it had some mild Homeopathic benefit, for people with Chronic Back pain, it would probably have at least a 50% chance of getting passed.

a big yes formulti vitamins

they have minerals in them that your body actually needs for health reasons, not to get bigger etc and replaces what you miss out on through your diet if it's a good one

I'd say you only need at max 1/2 a day.

Some Vitamins / minerals, can actually compete at certain levels, I believe from memory Calcium and Magnesium do, as I read some time back, you should take a Calcium and a ZMA supplement about 30-60 minutes apart of each other.

The thing is some Vits / Minerals have similar though not identical properties, so in higher doses, some may compete if they are trying to carry out certain biological aspects of their makeup, and if one becomes dominant, the other will be to recollection sidelined, and then you can become deficient in that one, as the body won't utilise it's other properties.

Most Multi-vits contain what your body can use, but with the exception of Lutein which the body doesn't produce, I can't think of any significant reasons for taking Multi-vits, and many people actually take them and single Vits, when they don't need to.

Bear in mind Vitamins A,D, E and K, are toxic in high doses, so Multi-vits can be a problem in certain circumstances.
