3rd shift eating habits

Post by Guts »

Well, I work 3rd shift and I've talked about this before but sleeping habits have been changing A LOT lately. I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion on eating times.. I know for gaining mass gotta eat every 2 and half hours or so. But Lately I've either been falling asleep right after I get home and eat. and then I wake up around 1ish and can't fall back to sleep until like 6 until 9 then I have 45 minutes to make lunch and eat. Sometimes I stay up until 2 pm and sleep until 9 again.. And sometimes I just SLEEP ALL day. Was wondering how I should set up eating schedule like what times I should eat at and what I should do for whenever I wake up from 1 to 6ish and such. I think problem mostly is sleeping habits interfering with eating. And it doesn't help that I sleep a lot now. Not sure if its all the work I do at work what .
Anyway I bring a lot of food for lunch and 2 breaks.. usually Chicken breast sandwiches on wheat, with yogurts and apples. Also, another question..Would breakfast for me be after I wake up or after work in the morning..Been confusing me.

and before I anyone replies (thanks swanso or bossman or both i know either one of you will reply!)

No you presume either one of us will reply. Don't get ahead of yourself .

Start something like this.

Meal 1: within 1 hour of getting up.

Meal 2: 3 hours later

Meal 3: 3 hours later

Meal 4: 3 hours later

Meal 5: 2 hours later

Meal 6: 2 hours later.

Should be okay.

you need to get your sleep organised...if you're basically having 2 naps instrad of a 1 6 - 8hr sleep than you'll struggle to do anythiung let alone add muscle...if you are doing 2 naps then breakfast should be the first meal after the longest one if that makes sense

i don't even look that good anyway...i'm 5'6" and 74kgs...probably 1 - 13% , some abs (more obs than abs i'd say)...train more for performance than looks...probably have too many cheats during the week to really "cut", i'm not getting cutter but i don't get fatter either...
