Weight Gain Help.

Post by NikkiSixx »

Hey swans05, I know you're going to reply to this as usual so could you help me out with this question. I need to gain weight..I had that problem with chest, and I lost about 15lbs. But now since I've been working out properly I want to gain it back and more. I've been eating a lot more but I'm not gaining any weight at all.. Infact i'm losing more :( .. Is there something I can do?? and I had a question about supplements, I'm a smoker would it be a good idea for me to use them?

Thanks

give up smoking as it will hinder your work capacity...if workout plan and diet are back on track than wait a while and you should gain it back in about 4 - 6 weeks if recovering properly with food and rest

Smoking suppresses the appetite as well.

Try and get all the nutrients you can from solid foods. Just remember to have a good balance of carbs, protein and fats. I'm no expert regarding supplements, but from readings and personal experience regarding routine, protein shakes before and immediately after your workout(s) will help you achieve your goals faster. This is especially effective during routines designed to gain weight or 'bulk'. Its best to eat 5-6 times a day with protein in each meal. This is why protein shakes are so useful. They are easily accessible and can be added as part of any meal. Regardless of what you decide, good luck
