Short biceps!someone must have a cure!

Post by ankur29 »

Hi , I am 16 and i have been going gym for the last month and half, I just started going to the weight room two weeks ago with free weights, I can lift quite a bit for age and am stronger than most of the adults that go to the gym and brother who is 18 is twice as strong as me and definitely one of the stronger members in the entire gym!
I may have a significant amount of fat but I do believe I am quite muscular compared to friends but hand should not look f**ked up like that, i do not even have a visible vein on arm. (Also another question after the first is addressed how do I broaden shoulders, bro has really broad shoulders aswell mine are slightly oval)

brother has long biceps that reach the forearm but I don’t mine is over a inch away from the forearm when i flex? Why? I am insulted by him all the time! And truth be told I do feel retarded, biceps are larger in the inside of arm and is inches above forearm!!!!!!!!!!! is there anyone else like this? Any famous body builders?

Help! What should I do? i have been doing preacher cable curls the last month like twice a week with no avail, I started doing standing reverse cable bar curls ,hammer curls this week!

I have been looking around the web for poor biceps but how can bro have great long fuller biceps?

Shoulders require good all round level of work. So you stimulate the three Delt muscles.

Biceps, would require somethig Solid like E-Z Bar Curls. I think they would be better for starting off than Hammers.

You have to wait about 4-6 weeks ot see any visable results, but you also need a decent programme. You can't just do things like Bicep, you need to be more concerned with all over not just one or two areas.

bossman just awnsered you ...

You need a full workout program, to stimulate your deltoid (shoulder) and keep on "solid" biceps exercises for results ... If you biceps is "short" as you said, it's only because he's not as develop as your brother one. YOu're at the start, so don't run crazy, have a nice day !

You have long tendons. Not alot you can do about that its genetics. It just wwont be as notiable if you make your biceps bigger. But dont worry baout them alot. They just develop along with other things as you work out the big muscles. IF you work your back hard you'll get big biceps along with the big back. If you obsess on your bi's at best you get big bis out of proportion to your body. At worst you overtrain them and have nothing.

i don't many veins either...some of us have them closer to surface then others...they don't really matter anyway and not many chicks really like them if that's what your thinking

to braoden shoulders do db push presses which allow more wt than regular shoulder presses if you do them properly but genetics do play a part with bone structure here

for arms again it's genetics, mine are blike this...not many bb's are like that a their genetics are usually grade 1 is why they're bb's

you can't change them but keep on hammers and reverse curls they will help

your brother was born with them and he probably had pretty good arms before he even looked at a wt

shouldn't bro share the same gentics as me? would whey help bicep length?

flexing with palm facig you you get more short hean emphasis (tennis ball)

flexing with palms facing the other way gives you a long head emphasis (football)

Irregular Muscles...

Post by aznkid91 »

Hi, Im also 16 and have a similar problem too, except right bicep is formed properly while the other one is like a tennis ball! :( friends think its soo weird, as do i! then again i have a funny muscle skeleton... the muscle on left calf is cut into 2 and the other one is fine! Also left deltoid is formed funny too, just above the joint i have a muscle bulge and on right deltoid it creases in.
Im not sure if this is correct, but since im right handed, right arm is stronger and i tend to carry the weight on right arm and im guessing this is why it is formed unevenly.
I do not focus on biceps, i work out all around so i do not think this is the problem.
Any suggestions to uneven muscles problem?

use db's only and only do for your strong side what your weak side can only do for sets, reps, wt etc
