I have an old style rowing machine. The one with handle bars that move away and towards you as your seat slides forward and back.
You feet stay steady on foot rests.
Does this machine/workout give you any benefits?
Does it work your shoulders? or...?
Rowing Machines

Yes it should be a pretty good workout, though I've never used a Rowing Machine, and more than likely there will be some upper body stimulus, with some potential stimulus on the Legs, as they will be flexing to some extent too.
I would advise though, due to the potential high stimulus on upper body muscles, from a Rowing Machine, if you used it after a weights workout, do it after Legs, not upper body training of any kind.
Your muscles like Biceps, Lats etc etc, might be hindered in their recovery if you then fatigue them more rowing
So in that instance your best bet for an after weights cardio session, when you've been training some or all upper body muscles, would be things that require no upper body use like Treamill, and exercise Bike. To stop additional fatigue of upper body muscles, thereby keep recovery time of such muscles more optimal.
