abs!

Basically you have to do 3 things:
1)Low fat, low calorie diet
2)Burn fat(especiallycardio exercises like running and jump rope)
3)Exercise
Apparently the first 2 are MUCH more important than the third.
You could do a billion crunches a day and you'll never see your
abs if there's fat covering your abs.
It's more about body fat reduction than how many ab crunches
you do per day. Cardio burns lots of calories and thus, burns off excess fat. You don't even need to go to a gym.
cousin runs 5 miles per day. She doesn't do any other exercise and
her mom cooks her nutritionally balanced meals every day. She never goes to the gym or lifts any weights. Her abs(and the rest of her body
) are incredible.

Run 3 days a week(for ex, Mon, Wed, Fri). Jump rope on the other 3 days (for ex. Tues, Thu, Sat). Rest on the 7th day(for ex. Sunday).
That's all.

Getting a 6 pack involves building up your ab muscles and then losing the fat that is covering them. Do hard ab exercises. Doing 100 crunches won't build you ab muscle. When crunches become easy start doing weighted crunches. Cable crunches, hanging leg raises are also good.
There is a saying that abs are made int he kitchen, meaning how you eat is paramount. A clean diet of natural, unprocessed foods is important. To lose fat you need to eat fewer calories than you burn each day. However, if your calories are too low you risk losing muscle and clinging on to fat. The body fights back if you don't eat enough to keep it going each day.

SarahPT, you seem to be really experienced in this department. I'm also going to assume that the "PT" stands for personal trainer
(SarahPT: "Well, duh!")
:)
hehe, anyway, I'm wondering if you could provide information, or leave a link to a site with information regarding low calorie foods or meals so that myself and the person who wrote this thread could have a little more knowledge as to which foods we should be eating. Even a good book to go out and buy or get from the local library would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks is advance for taking the time out to do this, if you do. You're a really big help.

I'm sorry mister grumpy, I'll try and be more observant. I wasn't trying to be offensive, I was making a joke.
SarahPT, I looked at your tagline for the first time just now, and had a look at your website. Well, you're the real deal all right. And without coming across as some crazy internet freak, you look absolutely fantastic. Did you intentionally miss run from the Miss Universe judges?
Anyway, I'm sorry if anyone here got offended by what I said, I was trying to be jovial. A lot of the other online forums I frequent are a little more friendly and communal. They share lots of jokes that aren't meant to be hurtful or anything of that sought. With that said, have a good day all of you. I look forward to reading more of your work on the forums.
thankyou.
