Calories for building muscle

Hello

Ive been cutting calories and lost around 6 stone now. Ive had a weight training program but dont think ive built any muscle (or lost any) When january arrives all i want to do is build muscle as ive reached fat loss goals. I use to eat under 1500 kcals per day. Whats a good bench mark for calories when trying to build muscle ? Any ideas?

im doin a very similiar thing 2 u lol im starting in january to weight train, cus by then fat will be low enuf (below 10%) basically ive planned a diet which totals 2613 calories and 150 grams of protein i feel this ill work nicely :p

you'll need about 15 calories per pound of lean bodyweight but depends on your energy expenditure
