Yes, you can take them both together.
Whey 1-2 scoops, Creatine 1 5g scoop.
Creatine is a personal thing to the user.
3 main ways to take it.
1. A scoop post-workout
2. A scoop pre-workout
3. About half before, half after.
If you are the kind of person who wants to do a 10g maintenance, then genral consensus is, do either of the 3 above things, then keep the workout scoop and the other scoop, at least 6 hours apart. The second one before bed. Where workouts finish too close to bed like say 3-4 hours apart, take the other scoop first thing.
Incase your kidneys are exposed to 10g Creatine, in too short a timeframe.
This pre or post-sleep dosing thing, applies only to a 10g maintenance. Regular 5g maintenance, shoudl be done in the 3 previously prescribed ways.
Oh and NEVER buy a Creatine that states 10g per scoop. No matter how many people say they get results, and no problems, I would like to see how many of them using a 3 on 1 off, 9 month of the year type cycle, would still be raving about the no side effects, with 15-20 years ontinued use of Creatine.
