diet

Post by the_troooth »

heres diet so tell me where i need to improve.

6:00 am: bowl of cereal. i alternate between raisin bran, grape nuts, and shredded wheat. sometimes an apple and toast. try to eat the apple 15 before cereal. I almost forgot, i take multivitamin too.

9:10 am some kind of vegetable or fruit. sometimes a turkey sandwich. depending on hunger.

11:35 am turkey sandwich with a vegetable and fruit. sometime fat free chips.

3:00 pm same as 11:35

7:00 this one varies. it could be rice and chicken with a vegetable and potatoes. something along those line though.

thats mon-fri. now the weekends are different because im at home so i eat whenever i feel hungry. i still eat basically the same foods though. no fast food or anything.

i gotta admit im extremely full at the end of the day. should i be?

Seems fine, just bin the Fruit out of the 11:35 meal. You don't really need too much Fruit in your system, getting conversion of the Fructose to Fat in the Liver.

training info: well i just started at a new gym, which im very happy about. the place i was going wasnt really a gym, it was a rehabilitation center through the hosptital. the equipment and workout times were limited but for just starting out it was good enough. plus the price was right too. $10 a month. :) so now im looking for a solid routine that i can follow but ill post that in the appropriate forum.(i have seen your recommedations swan)

goals: well hopefully im done losing weight cause im ready to start gaining muscle. i cant remember if i said this or not but im 5'9", 5'10"ish and about 139. i would like to get up to 150 and maintain that. i would like to see this happen by the new year. short term goal, although it might seem silly, is when basketball season starts watch all the guys i play basketball with jaws hit the floor. its 30 and over so everyone there is as round as they are tall.

you will need to eat plenty it seems but at the same time clean...also we'll need satructure training to allow for adequate recovery so probably 3 times a week max...i would suggest doing The Waterbury Method (search)...easy to follow and do for starters

I would stop thye cereal and have quaker oatmeal w/ splenda for breakfast! There's too much sugar and junk in the cereals.

Is the turkey sandwich deli or real turkey? You want real turkey!

I would get rid of the chips for good, maybe have yogurt, fruit, vegies
