Too Many Calories?

I am not sure how many calories I should be consuming to lose weight. Right now i am taking about 2200 to 2500 calories a day, and it breaks down like this.
7am 1 cup cereal/1 cup milk 200 cal
10 am whey protein drink 120 cal
12 am apple 50 cal
2 pm protein bar 230 cal
exercise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours
5 pm protein drink with milk 500 cal
7 pm supper various (meat, potato, and veg. with a salad) 1000 cal
9 pm protein drink 120 cal
job is walking for average 5 hours a day at 2.0 miles (approx) and when I get home I workout for 1 hour to 1 1/2hours. Have not lost or gained weight in 3 months and I have started this all 3 months ago. I am 38yrs old and weight 242 pounds. Could it be that I am gaining muscle at the rate I am losing weight??
