Night time crashes

I don't agree with theories telling you to not eat after 9PM.
Frankly why increase muscle Catabolism timespan?
Also this eating no more than 2 hours pre sleep, is crap in opinion. I often eat something less than 2 hours pre-sleep, with Carbs, yes you read right WITH Carbs, and have never experienced Carb related sleep problems, or diet related weight gain.
You still burn calories when sedentary, otherwise, even Ectomorphs like me, could get chubby, so you must therefore burn them whilst you sleep, as whatever bodily functions shut down, the Metabolism doesn't, or you wouldn't Catabolise muscle during sleep, which you do.
Even people who claim to get up about 4 hours after sleep, eat Tuna and go back to bed, are going to get 2 hours of split Catabolism, out of the 8, however going back to bed again, and sleeping for a second time, could be argued to release another 2 hours of GH production, thereby negating any Catabolism.
However frankly, getting up to eat in the middle of the night, to me seems pretty bad. It would be easier to take Casein and get the same effect, without disruption to sleep and Circadian rhythms. Even if you are someone like Ronnie Coleman.
I wouldn't want to spend 30 minutes on the toilet every morning, dumping the remnants, of about 10 hours worth of digested food.
