i was kind of short on cash, so instead of purchasing the tub of whey with multi-vitamins and fish oil supplemet (fish oil, borage oil (i think) and a third type which i forgot combined into one pill) i purchased this product called greens .. was this a mistake ? this product has things like berry extracts i think from fruits too green tea extracts ginseng etc.
because i bought this product, should i decrease intake of fruits?

I really hated the Greens at first, now I mix it with protien and I'm finding it's good stuff. It helps to reduce the chance of an alkaline imbalance. When we eat lots of protein, the PH in your body gets over alkaline, green leafy veggies counter balance this. An acid PH can lead to a loss of bone density and muscle tissue. The Greens helps if you are not eating enough green veggies.
I'm finding it to be good, gives you a shot of energy. But I wouldn't purchase it at the expense of losing your protein powder. Anyways, your money is not wasted, the Greens will do you some good.

I'm not sure if it really does anything for fat loss. It does make you pee alot. I've been using it for about a month now and I've lost 5lbs, I'm not sure if the Greens is helping or if it's just diet etc. I know in Canada you can buy a Greens+ , I'm not sure how that works but if it's stronger than the regular one, I'm sure it's gonna clean you out, if you know what I mean LOL.

Well, I wouldn't say that it was the cause of any weight loss, I'm taking it to prevent acidosis from the extra protein.
I imagine the stuff is strong!
The one I buy has a multi vitamin, so it's one scoop a day. Take it in your protein shake, you've gotta be pretty hardcore to mix it with juice, tastes like crap.
Teeth are A-OK, but since I started taking 4 Flameouts (fish oil) a day, dry skin is gone and I had redness in face that has greatly improved.

wow thats awesome !! good for u .. it tastes HORRRIBBLLEEEE LOL !!
k it tasted like crap wen i first tried it but i thought i'd tolerate it cuz its good stuff .. but now its gettin on nerves, its the worst part of day haha i take it in the morning before i have beautiful bowl of oatmeal/milk/whey/berries/buts
it takes about 4 full spoons of that stuff to get the taste away
one question .. if u (directed to everyone) had to order these from most important to least, how would u rank them?
-Green tea supplement -Multi-vitamin -Fish Oil supplement -Greens
just a question--it would help me out alot !! thanks !!
another thing, i think casein is a great idea--wat do u guys think bout takin maybe a scoop of creatine everyday?

You could mix Casein with Creatine, shouldn't get any compatibility issues or competion, but if you're just planning a basic 5g dosing / maintenance with Creatine, I'd say use Creatine first thing, or after workouts.
Best time for Casein is last thing at night. Anti-catabolic, and 2x cals per gram of protein.
If you consume it during the day, you risk having half the calories left, then eating more calories 2-3 hours later, possibly leading to an excess of calories, that will convert to Fat.
Only other option with Casein, is possibly after workouts, but only if workouts finish say 3 hours pre-sleep, so the anti-catabolic effects during sleep are not compromised, and you don't have too long before sleep, where you might consider a meal, and then possibly get what I said above.

LOL FINE i'll try it
i mean i jus procrastinated having greens yesterday n i ended up not having it, n today i didnt have it either lol thats so horrible .. but i guess i'll have an extra scoop of whey with the greens before i sleep tonight
(btw. is 2 1/2 scoops of whey daily too much whey ?)
wow, thats pretty surprising, i thought you guys would have put the green tea on top
isnt it like a catalyst to fat loss ? i'm guessing the fish oil is
(i know--and much more)
i dont think i'm gonna use creatine at the moment--the reason i asked is that when i'm through with fat-loss phase, i'm gonna need to bulk up a bit more which is when i'll throw in creatine ..
