HIIT during the day?

I know that if i do HIIT (high intensity interval training) i can burn fat at an amazing rate, but how much weight should i be losing a week..? i do HIIT in the afternoon around 4 pm simply because the gym i go to does not open early enough, so is this fine?

The safest amount of weight to lose is 1-2 pounds per week. Anything more is probably muscle mass.

it doesn't really matter when you do exercise as basically it's cals in vs cals out though many do go for the fasted morn stuff which is good for losing muscle also

I think it's fine to do HIIT in the afternoon. You can do HIIT 2-3 times a week, combined with some low intensity steady state cardio.
