hydroxycut?
im 22 yrs old, 5'5 135 lbs and would want to get down to 125. im following the fatsmash diet. any supplements to get metabolism into full gear? i was recommended hydroxycut , took it for a coupla days and have been feeling uneasy w. its side effects. perhaps because ive been takin it on an empty stomach?
I'm not going to say anything about Hydroxycut here particularly, but if you check the supplements section of site, you'll see views about things like Fat Burners.
I'm controversial sometimes, and a part-time skeptic, but if I think it helps people in some way then I'll write / say it.
You sound like you might be having a negative reaction. It could be your body getting used to it, it could be you accidentally dosing it wrongly, (no offense meant), or you could be experiencing side effects.
I strongly suggest you discontinue use. Anything that gives you the jitters is doing things to you that shouldn't happen. The jitters is what long-term Alcoholics get, not guys like you who use manufactured things to supposedly help you shed Fat.

no offense taken boss man
thats actually WHY i wrote in here. its because i want to know if im doing something wrong. prior to taking this was in a slow steady loss so i wanted somthing to shake system a lil bit. i havnt been taking coffee/tea for a lil more than 2 months already and when i read the contents of hydroxycut i saw that there were tremendous amounts of caffeine. at first i was skeptical about it since i felt like i have achieved much already w/o supplements but since it was recommended by coach, i sort of trusted him w/ his advice even though i was intimidated w/ hydroxycut's black packaging.
i followed the instructions written on the bottle which was also confirmed by coach ( for the 1st 3 days 1 pill / 2x a day 30-60 mins prior meal ) the thing is i was taking it 6 am ( i have bfast at 7am and workout at 730 am) then 3pm before pm snack at 4.
im in a dilema of stopping or try continuing it but taking it on 10 am and 4pm w/ am and pm snacks.

Are you conditioned (1 year of consistant workouts) or just starting out? If you are not conditioned, try working it out with diet. Usually a 33% split between C, F, P is a place to start. 5-6 meals, C+P in the a.m., after 3 p.m. switch up to P+F. Keep a careful log and see what works best for you. Diet is tricky, but supplementing to get over a plateau is not the best way to go.
Ask your trainer about shaking up the workout routine rather than supplementing. Combined with careful diet, you'll get results and start losing again.
