Wow, I see you are getting some good time walking in Chris! Good for you:) I wish I could do that but not at this time I guess:( Hope your DS's Dh had good knee surgery and is back on feet soon. I probably need it but will not get it here anyway. Well that snow went but we got a lot more today so not sure this will go again. Its 30 now in afternoon still and some flakes yet. This morning looked like a blizzard for a few hrs., all roads covered etc. but the roads have come out by themselves anyway. No plowing yet. And land is still too soft for any plowing in driveway for sure. We don't have a blacktop one or? Looks like T&T's will be wearing snowsuits under their costumes this year maybe? I did finally get a sauna in but not sure now if anymore:( I sure wish I could get a good steamy one in once a week but with kind, kind of hard to do that:(( Its kind of a pharmacy for me I guess:) Know as a Finnish one anyway;) Keep up the good work there and glad your playing some and boys didn't take stuff in school much as too far to go but they played BB and ski'd around here and had fun anyway:) And their computers too:)
Sue, I know your getting poor sleep so wishing and praying for better nights somehow:(( Hi to all others who might pop in anyway and have a nice Halloween or well, thanksgiving is a good one for me:) Was dog sitting last weekend and also saw the gkids and had some fun down son's house;) take care all, hugs :chilly: :coffee:

Hi All,
Well we had a good weekend. I wasn't sitting around a lot but no heavy duty workout sessions either. I cleaned in the house on Saturday afternoon and got some stuff looked after there. On Sunday I got out side since it was nice and did a bunch of yard work (drained and rolled up the water hose, cut back perennials and bagged up the stalks, broke up and planted garlic,raked...). It took me a good portion of the day but there is still more to do. I got the barbecue moved over to the back of the garage but I still need to put away patio furniture.
Wow YAH it sure feels like the snow is early this year. I know we used to go out in our snow suits as well. Glad you got a sauna in and time out to dog sit. :thumb:
Sue good luck at the dermatologists. I hope they can come up with something for you. I am sending you good sleeping vibes! :D
Hi All and I hope you are having a good week!

yes Chris, we had another snowstorm but it all went again:) I did have a sauna yesterday again:) Put water in and filled some extra pails up and took the hose off though. So I got the fire started and a good steamy sauna and water worked good and no hose to have to take off later. maybe I can do this a few times yet:) I sure hate it when I can't get one:( Was sunny today but not real warm but welcome the sun anytime;) Not sure whats in store for Halloween yet? I did get burn barrel finally with holes in it for draft so should start going through old bags of paper receipts etc., many of them, and burn them up:) But was waiting for some snow around it also but don't want that to hurry either. Hope you get in some good walks yet Chris:)) I wish I could do more work in places outside but hard to balance myself too good etc. We don't have a super level lawn here at all:)
Sue, glad you got to appt. anyway and hope you sleep tonight too:) take care all out there and enjoy the Fall and the fall back time too soon:) Although I wish they would leave it:( Hugs, :coffee: :sunshine:

Hi All, not much in the way of exercise on Wednesday. :( The snow came and went. It did make morning drives a little more interesting for most people. :wowzer: Walking to and from work today. I decided to rest over lunch time. hip is giving me grief. :( I guess the warranty is running out on that body part.
Hi YAH! Yay for the sauna! :D I hope you get a few more in before the winter sets in too bad.

Hi All, I did a lot of walking yesterday. 20 min to work 30 min at lunch and 20 min home again. I am driving today so not as much walking. Guess this is a bit of a rest day. weekend was pretty rainy so not much there. I worked on a halloween costume. I made the head piece/horns for Maleficent. I will be busy handing out treats tomorrow night.
Happy Halloween all!

Hi ladies,

Been a busy day so late getting on computer.....and with getting monthly report done too....so here goes for October and what's on tap for November.....I am hoping to do catch up tomorrow....

Now on to the REPORT...................................

Did very good with October/November workouts....missed one workout missed hubby let me sleep too late since was up all night again; and one other for a Doctor's appt

On tap for the month of the remainder of November will be 10 Minute Solutions Slim and Sculpt Pilates with band with Suzanne Bowen. However, this month will concentrate on a particular body part and and continue to do the same come January. December is a month I don't do regular workouts but RLW's. Workout for the remainder of November will be Lower body Pilates and Pilates for Flexibility.

Weigh Ins for the Month:

10/5/18 Friday weigh in 111.5
10/7/18 Sunday weigh in 111.5
10/14/18 Sunday weigh in 108
10/21/18 Sunday weigh in 110
10/28/18 Sunday weigh in 109

11/2/18 Friday weigh in 109
11/4/18 Sunday weigh in 108.5

Food goals: Food goals have not changed but remain the same...continue to take vitamin D, and keep up the increase in the fruits and veggies in diet, and try some different type of veggies, which we have been doing well with. Also continue to try out some different recipes, which had we are bound and determined this year to do better with. I will also continue with the getting in chocolate several times a week. PB is no longer an eating option for me. As for desserts we have made a switch and am keeping portion controls as I need to. Our soups mixed with egg noodles are working out great giving up lots of veggies and the sauce is already included; in addition to getting 2 dinners out of a can. Plus tummy likes it too LOL We will continue to have them over other types of noodles, like little farfalle and ditalini pasta too.

We have made up a number of the following ideas for dinners and just adding to our menu. In addition we have a number of ideas for different bases to go over pasta, making casseroles, etc. Plus making calzones, and pastry filled with vegetables and other filling to add to our diet for even more variety. We did a test one and it worked out great.

Trying to continue a variety of foods in our diet. Doing very well getting fish into diet having it on most Friday's and have also been getting it in during the week also. In addition adding diced peppers, potatoes, corn, spinach and other veggies to go with the fish has worked out well too. Still have had to be careful on portions as stomach still rebels on occasion, hence no weight gain in 2018 and slowly increase portion sizes to maybe put some weight on. Some weeks it goes up but then comes right back down again. Wish me luck.

Hi ladies,

Eva and Chris I read your messages....and Eva had to laugh that house doesn't get dirty...yup it does and dusty too as when you open the windows here with all the trees around you get dust and pollen. Tuesdays' they are closed as gardeners are here with those stupid blowers. They should be banned.

Chris I see you did well in late October with the walking to work and during lunch and walking further too. Like YAH hoping your DH's surgery goes well.

I see you had a blizzard on October 20th and glad you are alright. Poor T&T having to go out in that weather. Glad you got a sauna in too.

Chris I see you had a busy weekend on the 22nd of October with cleaning and all. Plus I see you got a lot of outdoor work done too. Thanks on the dermatologist visit Chris. He gave me a higher dose of hydro-cortisone cream to use. Did alright for a couple of weeks, but then just kept me up all of last night. I also see you did some more walking going done too.

Yeah been there done that on getting smacked by winter....last year in Rochester it snowed on May 1st.

Yuck on the weather and walking in it and the snow too. Been there done that and with the wind blowing right into our faces on the walk in, in the a.m. and same for when we left late afternoon. So I can relate.

Did get a chuckle on the warranty for your hip and it running out.......I have body parts like that too.

Yeah YAH as you know I was having issues signing on too.

As I said Chris, loved the Halloween outfit and bet the kids loved it too.

Well put up report for last month and did pretty good....so I was a happy camper.

Well that's about it and good timing too as the kettle is boiling and time for breakfast.

Take care and have a good rest of the week.

Not sure but I guess I will try it again;) Just popping in to say HI and hope you all had a nice Halloween and now today Veterans Day:) Well, I guess that dog sitting I did on Oct. 13th was last time away:( Did pack in a few sauna's anyway in between but just didn't go anywhere. Now we had a good snow storm Fri. night and got over a foot of snow so not sure if this one will go away:( Nice and cold, in single digits here at night and didn't get up to even 30 today:( Icy looking roads too. I guess i wouldn't get to dog sit for a lady way out on back road as too slippery for me anymore. Guess her Dh was off work for a while and the pit bull got used to someone around again and now their both working and its chewing up stuff:) Real nice one and she did bring it to work with her also when I used to work but I imagine someone probably said something about it following her around or? and so its harder to do that. I just can't help her now. son and wife came up day after storm to empty their storage place so they wouldn't have to pay anymore for it. Had to wait for them to plow though, and they did have a u-haul but managed pretty good and brought it back to CF's where their living now;)
other son came for a weekend from Iowa to GB for a break:) But he has to be back to work by 3 pm Monday anyway. I of course worry about them until they get home safe and sound:( too many storms going on all over in Nov. too. So I didn't get to see anyone but glad they got out anyway:)
Keep on doing good there Chris:) Hard with rain and all though:( We had a rainy Oct. for sure. Now its the gales of Nov., big winds, when some ships have sunk in the big lakes up here:( Once the beautiful colored leaves drop, it gets pretty dark and dreary looking so the white snow kind of brightens it up I think, and you can see deer better also on sides of roads:)
Sue, great monthly reports you have and I don't seem to have trouble putting weight on at all:( I sure could give you some?:) Was a lot better when I got to work and go to town then but thats all over and too far to go for any couple hr. job. Hoping you get to sleep good and glad you like your DR. and all also and can work on things that way. Everyone have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy your holiday to the fullest:) :chilly: :coffee:

Hi All,
Last week was a bust. I had to drive DH to and from work all week as he put out his back. It is better now. Friday sisters and mom came to town and we did our annual Christmas shopping. They spent the night and more shopping on Saturday. So I do have something started. Monday and Tuesday I did walk to and from work. Yesterday it snowed and then changed to rain. SO I got home from work to move around water saturated snow. I did the main part of the driveway before I went in to help with supper. I went back out to do some more in the evening as the temps were above freezing. The plow came by and left heavy wet snow at the end. :( SO I cleared that and the drain so the water had somewhere to go. Then I cleared neighbours driveway end as well. He is retired and a vetran and does stuff for us from time to time. So overall I think I got a good workout doing that. :thumb: The temps did drop drastically overnight and freeze everything solid. :chilly: Glad I did not procrastinate about moving the snow. :D Walking to work and home again today and tomorrow as well.
Have a great day all!

Hey All,
So last week I was able to walk to and from work all week. :D
This week has been a bit of a hodge podge. I took the car only two days (wed and fri). So i did get to walk three days this week and we did get in one lunchtime walk as well. So I am still moving. We had some more snow this week and I got out to clear it. For food I am being pretty good this week. I am focusing on lunches right now. I made a large pot of veggie soup last friday and have been eating it at lunch. Very yummy. I am getting the veggies without eating salads which I like.

I hope you are all doing well. We are in a windy deep freeze right now but it should be warming up a bit on the weekend.

Just wanted to say I hope you all had a good TG day and are doing great for weather etc. too. Chris you are doing great with the walking and the shoveling too:) That is good exercise and wet snow is heavy too. So nice that you got the vet. also:) I just shovel very small deck so I can feed the birds on it but so far, hasn't been heavy. We've been in teens only and single digits at night but today was one warmer day with up to 40 degrees :wowzer: But, I didn't do or go anywhere and so missed doing anything on big 70 bday:( guess it hit me hard or I'm depressed anyway. I do it to myself so I can't complain. But I think rain/snow is coming for the weekend and I see out west its really snowing now so probably we will get that eventually too. I hope everyone is enjoying and will enjoy their holidays and take care about the ice too. Don't fall  I hope your sleeping better Sue as I hear that you are sometimes and good luck with the xmas decorating too:) Nothing to do here. Hugs to all:) :coffee:

YAH Happy Birthday to you! :D I didn't know when your birthday was. It is hard when you get cooped up and the weather plays havoc on your mental state. Stay strong! :sunshine:
We have warmed up a bit too. Got out to do a bit of Christmas shopping. It will be here soon! :wowzer: DH and I went out to see the Santa Claus parade on Saturday night. It was a long one!! I love parades and waving to all the kiddos on the floats. :D
Nothing else new here.
Have a good night all!

Hey Peeps!
Well sometime over the weekend I stepped on the scale for the first time in months. :wowzer: I am happy to report that I am not gaining any weight. :thumb: I am still 10 to 15 pounds over what I should be but I will take what I can get seeing as I am very busy. I pulled a curried cauliflower soup out of the freezer and I am eating that today and tomorrow for lunch. I am loving soups! Chock full of veggies and I control the salt (very little) and sugar (none at all) for them. Anyway today I am getting in 3 walks, one to work, one at lunch, and one to get home again. It is a beautiful day for being outside in neck of the woods so I am happy to take advantage of it. :sunshine:
Have a great day all!
