just wondering what is "best" grip, over/ under and the advantages disadvantages of each,

i personally use overhand grip as it allows me more control of how fare up to pull the bar and at what speed, bt that is just preference

Either way is right. Just a matter of taste I reckon. I prefer overhand because of added control. (Less likelihood of 'jerking' the bar.) Smoother motion is better.

IMHO the reverse grip feels like I get a better range of motion and allows me to get a better squeeze at the top of the row.

Both are good. I alternate grip for variety.
