protein?

Post by robbyc27 »

everyone talks about protein...ive calculated that with weight i should consume 150 grams MAX. does this sound right? i want to lose weight/fat and gain definition.

im 6 foot 2, 220 lbs.

should i consume the same amount of protein on days off from lifting?

side note: i know i should wait 60-90 secs MAX in between sets, but how long can i wait in between exercises? like when im transitioning from back workouts to biceps?

basically it works like this and if someone wants to correct anything afterwards then you should bear that in mind too

you need one gram of protein per lb of body weight each day, taken from sources such as lean meat, chicken, eggs and protein substitutes - whey protein is best the best time to consume the protein is within one hour after a workout and the rest through out the day, try looking at some of the meal plans posted on the board

and i dont know about max time waiting, if your doing ab excerises you would want to wait about 1m to 3m between each set depending how far you push yourself and how many reps your doing each time,

Well with Abs, you're talking more like 5-20 seconds. This usually depends on what you're doing, or how long you've been doing it.

That's pretty much how I know it to be.
