Strength building vs body fat

Post by black_wire »

Im 19 and about 3 months ago was the skinniest weakest guy you have ever met. I joined a gym and go about 3-4 times a week. I have definately made improvement and have built muscle but im having trouble eating enough. The other problem is that i want to build a 6 pack but for this im supposed to get a really low body fat count. Currently i think count is around 13%.

Basically what should i be eating to keep building muscle but also build abs ? Is it that i will have to increase calories and protein and build muscle and then diet down or can i do both at the same time ?

I think i have made that sound a bit too confusing but hopefully you can help
