mo, the pharmacist said it should be food not liquid although dr didn't seem to think it mattered on the med. it actually hasn't been bothering me as much lately. I think maybe it was just anxiety.

YAH maybe i'm wrong maybe we are colder! we get pretty cold and it's pretty cold at this very moment. :) i think because i know people that live way up on the canadian border near International Falls and always think they have it colder i was thinking you were colder too. But i guess either one is pretty darn cold. :funny:

Mo i will check that movie out it sounds good. Good luck on that job!

Nice furniture Bama!

Have a nice night. :)

Afternoon sisters,

Bekah, new houses today are NOT made like the old houses, like your mom's was years ago. No one take pride in anything anymore and cheaper materials are used, etc...however, they charge an arm and a leg for the houses today.

Good for you on the mechanic...that's great. Good luck with the counting calories and exercise. The meet up good for practicing piano and Spanish sound good.

Thanks I had a nice Sunday me day.

Had a nice Saturday YAH and yuck on the snow again. Congrats to son on the $25 and a dinner.

Thanks on Bama's pics, YAH as I was able to put them up on here for her.

Glad you enjoyed the grocery report and yes we were very happy. Lots of funnies this week, glad you enjoyed them. Yup we are getting rain later this week. Plus got some last week too. Plus mountains got some snow...we need a bunch. They stupidly again (Washington and current administration...more worried about the stupid smelte) and are holding up the water bill for us that we need and stop worrying about the stupid fish....this has been going on since we moved out here 35 years ago.

I read a story on him too, Bekah.....and not many relationships like that. I am with Bama, very few men like that today... hubby did as he was scared and as ladies on old board know I did a lot too when he was in for his heart surgery....very scary.

Oh Bama, I hate people that do that. Hope your Kohl's trip went well.

Chris, I have every confidence you will get back on track. Do like me this year and start again in January. Not that food has changed but you know me this time of year....pizza and pasta for holiday dinners.

Great walks I see.

In the area around her, Chris.

Yup that's the one I read too Bekah....and I cried too.

Oh I saw that story also .....and cried, but then I do cry easily at sad stuff.

Molasses, I see we had the same crush back in the day. Yeah Harris didn't hurt LOL However, like yourself, he was a decent, loyal and open man.

LOL on hubby with the book club, did you make out alright with the chairs????

Yup sure have Molasses, no rest for the wicked...

Good luck with the sensory panel thing and nice pay for it too I see.

That's chilly to me, Molasses, but I am now a "wimp".....cause 32 in Rochester was "warm"....LOL

Yeah had a friend on old board Bekah that lived on the border and she got really really "cold".

Well all caught up and off to meds, etc.

Just a hopping in to wish you all a good cozy warm sleepy night:) I'm getting to warm bed soon as its already -9 here and I'm sure it will go lower tonight. Was sunny and clear mostly today but a high of 7:( More or lots of snow still coming down north of us though we haven't seen much of it at all this time. Bekah, yep, International Falls is suppose to be a Very cold place! :chilly: We usually don't get that cold but sometimes? Our friend from Prevention lives in Ely, MN. and that gets pretty cold too. I notice a few of these snow storms have hit in MN. a bit and gone across Wisc. into lower MI. though lately. I know GB got hit a bit where son is:) Not sure how sister's first winter up north is as she moved after 50+ yrs. down by Detroit :wowzer: Mo, sounds like you have been really busy with painting and having the book club over and all! That sensory panel sounds great too:) No painting done here but not sure with the cold if it would be good right now? Chris, at least you got out for walks and I'm sure your doing more then I am and I guess thats why the New Year's is a beginning for some of us:) Like me for instance:)
I'm enjoying watching video's of this guy who lives up north but drives around towns etc. showing the snow and all kinds of things:) I can't drive all over so I feel like I'm seeing places I've driven by before etc. and its fun not being out in the snow right now but seeing it all anyway:)
Glad you got Bama's pic's up Sue and I hope you are enjoying your furniture now Bama:) Wish I had some room for some. And I guess houses do have more insulation then they had long ago as we sure didn't have any in our old house at the farm but now that no one lives there, we do:( Our house is just a log cabin really, that they sided up and plaster walls so its not real warm. Not really insulated and the logs are not squared real good:(
Well, I hope you all have a good night of sleep and have a terrific Tuesday also!! take care out there! :coffee:

Baby it's cold outside . Schools are on 2 hour delay .

Gotta go to the post office to mail fudge and Cranberry bread to Brother and stop at the store and then I am home.

Ordered an Electric fireplace entertainment center for the living room . Delivered yesterday but was damage and they said if I would keep it they would give me 10 % off. (lowes) It was damaged too much so suppose to bring another one tomorrow . Then living room will be finished except for accessories. Probably will wait until spring to do that.

Almost finished shopping one and maybe two gifts yet to buy. Waiting to see if DIL's DD and children are coming Christmas eve day .. I don't usually buy for them but I feel if they are at house and everyone is opening gifts it is only right that there is something for them . Last year she cancelled at the last minute but this year she is getting a divorce and alone (her husband was very controlling) so will maybe be here.

Nothing else going on here . Skipping some exercise but not all . Just busy and like to get started early in the am . I will soon be done and can get back on schedule.

Have fun today no matter what you do .

thanks for reminding me Sue! hehehe, I had to do the math, guess its 49 anyway but we do it like any other day anyway. thank you anyway:) Still very cold up here but no snow for us much. Up north they have 3-4 feet now! Just 70+ miles to the west or 80+ miles to the east is where its coming down:) Seems to skip over us. I see GB is going to have from maybe 10-12 inches Fri. to Sat. son has Fri. off but works the weekend down there but he could probably walk to work if he starts early. Depends on when the snowblower guy gets there as his car is low but awd.
Bama, I see you get out at least even for a bit of air:) I'm still here since a week and a day has gone by. Can't seem to kick myself out and its not because I love it here either. No room to wander in here much and talking to myself also:(( I just get down I guess. Wish I could sit in sauna but thats our for me now. Until Spring whenever that comes here. I haven't even shopped online as not sure if Yahoo said about some people being hacked on it etc. I guess I really don't need to shop anyway. I like to give all year here and there and not on one day. Just a bit of money in a card is ok I'm sure:)
Hope everyone out there is not too cold and enjoying the season and getting your sleep also? If in town it would be nice as stores are open a lot later around here then they are any time otherwise. Nice to see the xmas lights too I guess. have a good night and a fabulous Friday also!! take care! :chilly:

Happy Anniversary Yah, Hope today is all that you wish it to be.

I just thought I would stop in and wish every one a Merry Friday. It's a little warmer here today but calling for freezing rain tonight around 7 so may not get to go out to dinner or cut it short.

Waiting for Lowes to bring entertainment center . Suppose to be Am so hoping it will be here by noon. and that this one is not damaged .

I finished the fudge this morning and tomorrow plan on making some peanut candy . Never made it before but sounds easy .

Not much going on this weekend . Just going to wrap up some last minute chores that have to be done . Since Christmas is on Sunday have plenty of time.

Enjoy the weekend .

Hi sisters,

Almost time for the meds, breathing etc but wanted to catch up first....

YAH, hoping your weather isn't too bad this year. Plus you are sleeping well. The videos sound cool.

Cold here too Bama, as we hit 34 overnight and was still the same this a.m. it's only in the low 40s now and we are headed to lower 30s overnight. I see you got your stuff mailed out too. Hope the fireplace comes in brand new this time. Sorry about your daughter and her divorce. hope she comes over.

LOL about reminding you YAH...yeah you are longer than Chuck and I by about 7 years. See it's still cold there but that's the weather in your area...this is why we moved.

Wish you could get out more, but driving this time of year isn't that easy plus now with the van issues.

Sorry no sauna's.

Bama, mmmm love fudge....hope the entertainment unit comes in perfect condition. Sounds like a quiet weekend.

Well I am off and wishing you all a good night and get some "me time" in tomorrow,

Sue

Happy Sunday all,
I did an outside workout today. Scooping snow and dragging it to the backyard was work for the day. I have a nice pile and I am hoping to dig it out later (in a few days after it freezes) to make an igloo or some such thing. Rain today after a bout of freezing rain. Hoping it does not freeze too fast. Having a nice me day today and staying off the roads.

Sue glad you got some sleep. Sorry about the temps. :funny:
Bama sounds like you are keeping busy. Yummy fudge!
Hi YAH, getting out in the winter is a hard thing to do. Hugs!
Hi Becky and Mo! I hope all is well at your houses.
TTFN!

Hi, Sisters,

We had a little snow Friday night, not much, maybe an inch. And then it sleeted, so when I went out to the Y on Sat. morning, it was a little scary getting out of the driveway. If I hadn't had a PT appt. afterward, I'd have skipped the bootcamp yoga class, and stayed home, but I was going to meet client anyway, so off I went. Today was much warmer, and rainy, so all the snow is gone already.

client says he is seeing a difference in his fitness level, and in his post-surgical knee, since we've been working together, so that was great to hear. :D

Have fun with your igloo building, Chris--I hope the weather cooperates with your plans. :)

Sorry about the cold, Sue, and the crummy heating system. We keep our thermostat low so I use a space heater in the bathroom when I shower, and we also have a little electric fireplace in the dining room for ambience and extra warmth. :funny: It's less expensive that way than cranking the furnace up to heat up the whole house. Cute little Sunday pup there. :) That song was a new one for me. Yes, book club worked out okay--a couple of women had to cancel with colds and babysitter problems, so I had just enough room after re-arranging the living room and bringing in the dining room chairs. :tonguepoke:

Hope you had a nice dinner out, Bama, and didn't have any trouble with the freezing rain. How is your entertainment center? We love our little $49 electric fireplace, so I can imagine that you will really like your nicer version!

Happy belated anniversary, YAH! Wow, the big one next year! I like the Christmas lights, too. I've been seeing some really pretty blue ones; I'll be keeping eyes open for some of those in the after-Christmas sales. I have white lights in living room window, and then I took a strand of multi-colored ones and dumped them into a cobalt glass bowl and plugged them in. Not very fancy, but they are pretty anyway.

How are you feeling now, Bekah? All okay with the new medication? Do watch The Right Stuff if you get a chance--I thought it was very good. Thanks on the job--I went 3 times last week and we got $77, so that was nice.

Speaking of "the job," I have a review scheduled for Tues. at the Y. I hope that means raises are coming, but we'll see.

Sweet dreams, everyone!

Happy Monday all,

Well we still have ice on our drive way and since it is a little up like a hill but not just enough to give the car a hard time getting up it. Next time we will be sure someone does the drive way . Had our guy that does the lawn done it we would not have any trouble but he saw the neighbor boy doing the neighbors and thought he was going to do ours also but he did not. Whew !!

Shopping is all done and I picked up a toy for Happy . He will be coming over Christmas eve as well the grand kids. Glad that is all finished. Now just the cooking .

Mo, I hope you get a nice big raise . We didn't get but about 5.00 on our SS checks and then the health insurance went up so that took care of that little bit.

Yah, I have been thinking about you with time on your hands now . Do you like to color? If so that would be a fun thing to do when you can't get out. They have so many nice books for adults out now . husband likes to do jigsaw puzzles something that I am not very good at .

Sue you are kinda cold there for California. Glad you got some sleep.

Chris that sounds like so much fun building an Igloo but very cold. You will have to take some pictures and share with us .

Well I did get entertainment fireplace without any problems . I put a picture on Face book so Yah if you see it would you mind sending it to Sue and then she can put it on here. I can add pictures to facebook via phone but don't know how to are here.

Well I need to some lunch for sweetie pie .

Later .
