damn back injury

well guys its happened, first weight training injury, at 16! lol upper back hurts whnever imove so i guess im laying off for a few weeks, maybe do some light training.

Trained too much ? It happen to me one time, but not the back, it was pec pain ... really disturbing ... result ? 3 weeks that i had difficultie to move :cry:

I hope for oyu that it's ain't so bad and have a nice day !

whereabouts in the upper back? it's usually lower back...what were you doing when you hurt it?

I know exactly how you feel. I have sprain ankle, can't train maybe upperbody. But no cardio or legs.
You can at least walk. look after your self.

yeah its a killer, basically its just across above the blades but it hurts right on the spine

well when i come from holiday i went straight into weights wihout taking it slow first, and maybe cos i had 10 days rest i shoulda started of slowly, thts what i think anyway

No I mean how did it happen? Doing Shrugs, Benching, Pull-ups etc etc?

it wasnt until the day aftr but i guess it could be the upright rows, but the bad thing is i cant do anything - no weights, not even push ups or situps, i feel like im wasting away just sitting doing nothing, all iv been doing is running twice a week plus footy matches with friends

If it did hurt first thing, but not when you went to bed, could be a sleep problem.

Which means your sleep posture was funny, or you're using a bed which has become knackered, I.E. one or two springs just gave up the ghost, forcing you to sleep in a posturally unhelpful sleep state.

it hurts all day, the morning is not as bad but by night im in agony

You need some medical assessment then, or it could worsen.
