I'm not going till April 16, so just under a week now.
Yay on the Dad move, Chris, and on the news that he's eating now without nausea! Hope your mom is feeling better, too. Great workout for you--gotta love squats and lunges!
Sorry about missing the weight workouts, Sue; Pilates and walking are good though! Hope your arm is feeling better. Sorry, too, about the FedEx mix-up; sounds like they must have been at the wrong door. Bummer that you missed the shopping trip to wait for them. Hope you get your package today anyway.
Ouch on the stye, Bama, but glad you got it checked out yesterday and now can skip the other appt. Great triple workout for you this morning!
I've got book club tonight, so that should be fun. I do have things I want to get done first, so I'd better get off the computer and back to work.
RLW's today with bathrooms, dusting, etc. Lucy is currently chugging away!
Molasses, great workout yesterday. You will be missed when you go. Yes it did arrive so we are happy campers. Fed Ex ground here most drivers are NOT very good, but we lucked out and got our buddy that we used to get when WM used Fed Ex years back.
Arm is better thanks, was just tired yesterday. Seems to be a theme this week.
Great workout today Bama, have fun at the garage sale. Speaking of books did you finish the last Sisterhood book?
Well off to check mail, eat and go "clean, clean, clean LOL
I did a new yoga DVD this morning from Yoga Journal (75 min.) so that was nice. I need to get back to some HIIT one of these days, but I am enjoying the yoga and weight workouts.
Enjoy your cleaning, Sue!
Hope you find some good books, Bama! I haven't been yard sale-ing for years, but I always thought it was fun. Great job on the TM, too!
Great workout Molasses, and bathrooms, washes and dusting all done. Frittata made too for dinner tonight, plus swept the front walkway and two patios too.
Now off to breathing, meds and nap, tired, back achy and sleepy! Could be allergies and it's warm here....hit 78 and still moving up.
Have a nice evening all, plus a nice Sunday, take some time for you!
We had a great time at the Yard sales yesterday. Was in a very nice neighborhood . Beautiful houses. Didn't find any books but I did pickup a Jillian brand new DVD and want to try it this afternoon. Called Yoga Melt down . Never been opened . Only 2 bucks so I couldn't resist . I did see the whole workout is on You Tube . Oh Well.
Had a great time at Marie and Gregs yesterday until l the neighbors came over with their whole family. They have a 17 year old and a 4 year old and the 4 year old is out of control and parents don't seem to be concerned . He had a speech problem and I don't think they are doing anything about it and they both are nurses. Oh well , kinda of sad that they let him run wild.
We left soon after they arrived which we would have anyway.
Not much today . Going to go though the house and see what I can take up north this trip .
Have a great "ME" day .
Mo, I have been doing some pilates lately . It seems to soothe the body . LOL
Great buy on the DVD, Bama! From what I remember, that's not a soothing yoga flow kind of workout, but maybe it will get you interested in doing some other yoga workouts. Yoga as a sort of whole body Pilates! That is sad about the 4 yr old. I hope the parents wake up before it's too late.
Hope you feel better today, Sue, and your Me Day is not ruined by allergies or a sore back!
We have sun and heading to 60 today, so should be a nice day.
Sounds like a wonderful time at the garage sales, Bama, and hey for $2 you have the real DVD rather than having to deal with YouTube, so it's a good thing.
Seems like if they are in the medical field sometimes, Bama, their kids are the worst and heaven forbid one should be a psychiatrist or psychologist like the ones I worked for years back at Rochester when we first got there...I cleaned the house and watched the kids when they got home from school till the mother came home (she was the child psychologist). The two boys were alright when I was there, but I guess one day they decided they weren't going to listen and I told them "yes you are" and the 9 year old to me to "F off" YUP...well I saw red, raised hand and brain clicked and said "NO NO NO" so I went in the bathroom and lite a cig (I smoked then). They boy is banging on the door telling me I can't smoke in the house and he's going to tell his parents and I said to him, "leave me alone because I am having this to calm down so I don't beat you and wash your mouth out with soap and he shut up real quick". I came out and called his father the "head of peds" mind you and told him what happened and that he or his wife needed to get here NOW as I was leaving and NOT coming back. They called and pleaded and promised all kinds of things and I said NOPE no 9 year old is going to speak to me like that. Or act out if I tell him NO....
This is how they grow up to be like that 17 year old.
Yes Bama, I love Pilates. Have a nice Sunday.
Molasses, great workout today and NOPE back is still killing me and I have a band of pain around waist....will take a gas pill today. Allergies are better with pill last night and slept well.
We have sun too and going to 80 today.
A great Sunday to all, off to me day Ethel is spinning away and making horrendous noises so off to check her out LOL
Today I tried a new bodyweight workout: 5 rounds of 10 reps each of squats, push-ups, lunges, criss-cross kicks (the ab move you do lying on your back) and jump squats. It's almost 50 degrees outside and sunny so I did it outside.
Pretty wild about those kids, Sue! sister babysat in college for a psych prof and marveled at how well-behaved the boy was, so I guess it's all in which theories a person chooses to work with. So hoping you are feeling better today. Hugs~
Great workout, Bama! Glad your eye is improving!
Hope you had a good weekend, Chris, and your parents are doing well.

Chris, hope all is well with you and your family.
Bama, great workout today and yeah I've had those "rush days" where I am not sure why LOL Glad your eye is doing better.
Molasses, sounds like a great workout this a.m. We got you beat by 11 degrees this morning and headed to 86 boo hiss and tomorrow back to 71 and by the end of the week...boo hoo the 90s.
Yeah since we have our degrees in psych, yes some are very very good. However, the other two were peds and counseling and more 'full of themselves' than their kids. We were very close to our psych professors....Bob and Byron (yeah B names) and both had the best behaved kids.
Well have a good day sisters and a nice evening too,
Today I did 3 miles with Leslie . feet or I should say Heels are bothering me so taking a break from the Treadmill. This was a dvd called Party hits . Walking and twisting and HIIT's about 5 of those during the 3 miles. Some good music . Lionel Ritchie( dancing on the ceiling) , MC Hammer( you can't touch this) and a bunch of others. A good workout '
Bunch of errands to run today , Kohl's return a pair of Go Walk Shoes , Eye doctor pick up Prescription and Sam again to pick up a prescription . So another busy day .
Chris , hope every thing is ok .
Mo, getting ready for your trip . We are too as leaving this Sunday .
Good Morning All!
Parents are slowly getting better. Dad is out of the hospital. I sprung him on Saturday morning. Here is hoping he watches what he is eating. Mom is slowly recovering from pneumonia.
I was working from home yesterday as DS had a cold and was tired. We had a beautiful day!!! Now it is raining.
Sunday I got a walk in. I have been shovelling the snowbanks down a bit to try and make it disappear faster. I just can't leave it alone and let nature do its thing.
Great moving and grooving gals! Keep on trucking!
BBL!
Great to hear your dad is out of the hospital and your mom is on the mend, Chris. Sorry your DS was under the weather, and hope you don't catch that cold. I don't blame you on the snowbanks!
Sorry about your heels, Bama, but looks like you got in a good workout despite them! Good luck with all your errands.
Great workouts, Sue! Yesterday was a perfect weather day here for me--low 70s is comfort zone! Getting thrown into the heat in TX could be interesting.
Two rounds of the 7 min. workout for me this morning. Lots to do so I am off to get it all done.

Bama I see you logged a lot of miles with Leslie this a.m. Sorry about your heels. Saw something the other night about sock type of sock thingy for that. If old mind remembers I will drop you an email LOL
Good luck with the errands today.
Chris, glad to hear your parents are slowly getting better. Hope he watches his food and glad mom is recovering. Oh no, healing vibes to your soon too. I see a nice walk in on Sunday and shoveling.
