Good Morning sisters and Happy April .

Work out for me today was Jillian's kettle bell shred plus Leslie's You can do Pilates.

Jillian made me glisten and Leslie cool me down.

Jillian was a tough work out but will try it again .

I got all the sounds right, too, Sue--funny how some of that stuff is ancient in the tech world, but was so revolutionary when it came out.

Great workout, Bama! Jillian can get you sweating for sure!

Hugs on the vacuum sadness, Sue. I've been there, too, so I know exactly how you feel.

Yoga for Flexibility for me today. I'm meeting friend who is visiting from FL for a walk in the park after lunch. She doesn't want to run because she doesn't want to have to shower again afterwards.

Have a great day, everyone~

Morning sisters,

Holy cow, April already..on tap for today RLW of cleaning, dusting and all that fun stuff and Evening workout walking/jogging in place/dancing

Great workouts this a.m., Bama, have a good day.

Molasses, I see we both did well on the sounds. Yes, what so amazing to us back then. Heck I can remember finally getting a color TV and grandpa really making those colors very garish...yikes.

Yeah I knew you'd relate to the "vacuum sadness" Molasses.

Good workout this a.m., and I am glad your friend from FL is there for a visit too. Have a nice one.

Well off to morning checks, breakfast and get house dusted.

Have a good day ladies,

Sue

Good Morning sisters,

Sue I haven't done the sounds yet . It doesn't want to download correctly.

This morning I did a double workout . Two of Leslie's walk DVD's The Big Burn ( 30 minutes of intervals) and Walk away your Stress .This one has some great music in it. I have almost 9000 steps in which is very good . April's goal is 60 minutes of exercise a day ( I hope) with one day off .

Happy Thursday All

Morning Mo, Chris morning to you also .

Hello All,
This is just a quick check in to let you know that I haven't left you. I had to head to be with mom for the first of the week while she is fighting pneumonia. She is getting better but with her lung issues it is slow. She is still home but no energy at all. Still worried about dad.

Keep moving gals and I hope to get back to normal soon.
Happy Easter!!

Great workouts, Sue. I haven't done Pilates for awhile. I really should give new Stotts Pilates a try. Hope it's a nice day for your "rent walk!"

Great workouts for you, too, Bama!

Hugs for you, and healing thoughts for your parents, Chris.

I did Bikram yoga last night, so will probably take today off. It's finally warm enough to open windows (yay!) so I cleaned the dining room windows and frames. Not favorite job, trying to get all the dirt out from between the screens and windows. I don't know why the vinyl window frames have so many crannies that I can't even fit a toothbrush in. Not well-designed. :x

Happy Easter, Sweat Sisters~

Monthly Report for March

March was a continuation of February with a fantastic month both eating and workout wise too; except for the first day with a stomach ache and a bad foot. Luckily I was able to get back on the stick for the rest of the week. Even got some great walks in on Saturday for 2 weeks. A shopping day where I missed the morning workout but got a lot of walking in shopping and got evening workout in. Unfortunately a night with no sleep but the kibosh on Friday workouts on the 20th. Hard to feel motivated with only 2.5 hours sleep. Skipped a Wednesday morning workout for a RLW of dusting and cleaning but got evening one in so all in all a good day.

Still on track with chocolate for the month and with the PB, as I had PB ice cream and some spoonfuls. daily fruit was great with lunch, plus in desserts. Got Vitamin D for the month as always with fish and daily dosage too.

Start date for April will be April 6th, Weeks 1 & 2 MWF will be The Mari Winsor Pilate for Pink Workout with bands and will do abs on Monday, legs on Wednesday and arms on Friday for both weeks. Weeks 3 and 4 will do Suzanne Bowen's 10 Minute Solution Pilates Perfect Body Arms and Perfect Stretch on Monday, Buns & Thighs and Perfect Stretch; on Wednesday and Perfect and Perfect Stretch on Friday of week 3; Week 4 - Monday Perfect Silhouette and Perfect Stretch; Perfect Body Arms and Perfect Stretch on Wednesday; Buns & Thighs and Perfect Stretch on Friday; Evening workouts for Weeks 1-4 - MWF - Men's Workout (from years back) 12 reps 2 sets for each of the following: Alternate Curls -Biceps, Wall Stretches - Calves, Bent Over Extensions -Triceps, Shoulder - Alternate Presses, Back -Bent Over Rowing, Thighs - Squats, Abdominals - Bent Knee Sit ups, Forearms - Squatting Curls and Chest - Bench Press; Tuesday/Thursday evenings for the month part 2 of that Men's Workout - Abdominals - Pull Ins 15 reps, Obliques - Twisting Reaches 15 reps on each side, Abdominals - Stiff-Legged reaches - 15 reps, Obliques - Side Bends - 15 reps, Abdominals - Pull Ins 15 reps and Obliques - Twisting Reaches 15 reps.

Food goals: Food goals remain the same...continue to take vitamin D, and keep up the increase in the fruits and veggies in diet, and try some different type of veggies, which we have been doing well with. Also continue to try out some different recipes, which has been going very well but slipped up a bit and have to get back on the stick. Plus continue with the getting in chocolate several times a week (and continue to have peanut butter too). Also going to cut down on the ice cream and try making more fruit based desserts. Need to get back on the stick with that. In addition am loving our yummy soups from Campbell's and having a half can it gives us 2 dinners and also tummy likes it too LOL Lots of veggies...plus even the ones we buy are low sodium and we will be splitting the ones we eat together, so we each get half and have them over rice, egg noodles, too along with just the half can and a small slice of French bread. Stopped the saltines due to salt and starting bothering both of us...old age....not so grand LOL

Plus we still have some of our own lasagna left we made up. Plus soon will be making our own manicotti too....so will have a plethora of great meals. I still have some fish left over last month's shopping in the freezer so will be set till we go shopping again, have some salmon fillets, and fillets with Alaskan Pollock and also got some crab and lobster for lunches. In addition to the other frozen dinners we will be making up for ourselves, also some pastry dinners too with lots of veggies. Will try the Pillsbury pastry first to make sure we even like them. Can also make up some calzones too with our pizza dough. So we are very excited about our fare.

Evening all , Sue sounds like March wasn't real bad for you except for your lack of sleep etc.

March was good on the workouts . I only missed 3 days of no workout and each was a Sunday and that is supposed to be dy of rest .

Food I won't talk about . LOL .

We had a nice visit with Marie and Greg and now another couple has joined us . So enjoyed our conversations. It is so nice over there as the neighborhood kids all played basketball and tonight they played dodge ball in the neighbors yard which is right next door but it's so nice to see the kids out playing and not on their cell phones etc. These are big homes and big yards so plenty of room .
Greg and Marie did away with their internet . Said her kids were on it too much. They both have it on their phones just not in the house any longer . I don't think we could do with out ours but we aren't kids LOL . We shall see how long it lasts. I think Greg is a little hard on the oldest son who is 18 and working nights at the Hospital plus going to college . Well of course none of business. But he seems to favor the other two who are 15 and 16 .

Well time for me to shut down and maybe watch some tv.

Happy Evening all.

Hi Bama,

I see you had a good March too with the workouts. What are your plans for April?

Sounds like a wonderful visit and how nice to see kids play outside....I agree with Marie and Greg on the internet and the kids. I swear all I ever see are kids and adults alike with their heads bent and pressing their fingers into a cell phone. They don't pay attention to anything else. There has been a number of adults who have dropped their phones from walking into things here and there goes the phone. I mean what the heck could be that important from the moment they walk out their doors, get into their cars, etc. Plus they all talk loud enough on their phones and then give others dirty looks....hey buddy you're the one yakking and letting the whole world know your personal life.

I love that the kids played dodge ball and basketball...so nice to know it's still going on somewhere. Boy that scenario sounds familiar to me LOL as I worked 2 jobs, went to college and mind you "had to pay" sister for doing work....I never got paid for it LOL

Well on that note I am off to check mail, eat (as time if finally over with all waiting for pills and being able to eat LOL), clean some bathrooms and get list of questions ready for doctor visit on Tuesday.

Have a nice weekend,

Sue

Morning and Happy Easter,

WEll Yesterday was a beautiful day . Our visit to Gregs was short as they were having his side of the family over for A cook out and they have a big family. We were invited but declined as for us to many people bumping into each other although they do have a huge house.

I am fixing a turkey breast instead of Ham this year . Last year we had to freeze the left over ham and didn't like it that way so we know we will eat the Turkey breast .

I did get a short workout in yesterday and 10000 steps .

Have a great day all .
