No dust here yet YAH just regular HOT air....later in the summer with AQ and winds pick up all that dry dust and crummy air will be around. Hence the a/c and staying in house.

Bama, I see you had a bill paying day on Thursday and good luck with the taxes and other stuff. Tell them all I said hello next time you check in. Hope Sam's went well too. Same here Bama lots of stores close by here too.

Glad you enjoyed our crepe myrtle tree, YAH. No just the difference between west coast and east coast. Plus our mountains are snowy and many of which are very cold, but we stay a lot warmer down here as we are in a valley both a plus and a minus.

Glad you are finding some nice things for the capsule. Yikes was that "E" that was that big, sounds like brother which mom had to do C section. Me I was super tiny and not even 4 lbs so they kept me in ICU for a bit before I could come home.

Yes, Molasses, lots of good memories and yes the picture is from this year already. I took more Saturday of the same one and it's now green already.......crazy.

Glad you got to your son's, YAH and liked the second picture too. Yeah they are blooming fast this year.

Hmmm maybe an idea to see if the kids can pay you for house sitting the dog...just a thought! They are paying day care so you could watch the kids and the dog too. Sounds like a perfect fit to me. I would ask them about it YAH.

Yes, we plan on doing more walks before the "heat gets here and we will be housebound"....well I don't mind going out but Chuck NOPE ain't gonna happen. Yes Sunday is going well.

Good Morning ladies! I got up when Dh left for his morning of work. Figured I have to get up Real early tomorrow for work. Watched the sunrise on the web cam from Marq. also. Very nice but nicer to see it live! the sun finally made its appearance here over the tree's about a half hr. ago. Not a bit sunrise but nice to see anyway although I know its getting warmer just for me since I'll be working more this week Hopefully the ladies will be warmer and allow more fans to be on.
Sue, no, the Big baby was D:) E and J were normal. Thats when they had to open me up and found hundreds of polps in there all over also and I don't know what happened to them or whats happening either. I try to forget it. I see you got Lots of pic's at least but hope you get out for little walks while its so nice:) Nope, no day care for their dog as he's not so normal:) Problems and all. If I lived a Lot closer I could go over but I don't:( Not sure if they got to the eating place as I know son had temp. later and got some sleep then and I hope he is ok today. Got shower and washed hair at other son's yesterday anyway. Thought Dh had gone Marq. Sun. but he didn't. Hope you have a great Monday and a great week also!

Another one of those nights, woke up for a pit stop at 3:30 a.m. and didn't get back to sleep till after 5 a.m. GRRRR

YAH, I see you were up early this a.m. I see it was D, oh well, bad LOL Oh I know the doggie has a lot of issues, I wish you could go and watch him and the kids. Have a relaxing day before work tomorrow.

Well a good day to all and I am off to eat, workout, make a shopping list, bake a cake, and the list goes on. I sent weekly report Saturday....

Good morning all, Happy Monday .


Hey what a experience I had yesterday and this morning . I couldn't sleep for worrying about it . Seems yesterday afternoon I looked out into the back yard and saw this ball of black fur . Yep it was a dog . Well it was just laying in the yard. I called DH and he came and knocked on the window and it raised it's head but didn't move . So I figured it had been hit . The back of our house is lined by a very busy and fast street .

Well I went on about business and by night fall it was gone . So I assumed it ended up being ok and moving on home.
This morning as we were leaving I saw it laying over in the neighbor's yard. DH blew the horn and she raised her head so we knew she was alive . Such a pretty dog and a young one. So I had him turn around and went back to the house to call animal control. and they said they would soon be out . We went ahead about our business and I told DH to go a different way as heart was breaking and I didn't want to see her again. By the time we got home from our errands the animal control guy was here and we showed him where she was and he said oh they had been trying to catch her since last week. That last week they found her puppies and picked them up but couldn't catch her and that she was just grieving (now you all have had dogs and know if this is true or not , we haven't had any for years and years and more years not since I have been married) Well he went over to get her and she go up and started running so at least I know she wasn't hit and hurt . He never did catch her and I feel better to at least know she wasn't hit. I tell you I was almost in tears over that stray dog .
Now I need to calm down now that all seems to be ok . I just can't understand how people cannot take care of their pets. Last week we had 4 huge dogs running loose in the yard. Animal Control said they finally caught them That's been day so far .

It is going to be in the eighties all week but rain. Hopefully spring has come to the South .

Yah, I was a big baby over 9 pounds but was skinny all life and short 5 foot so I guess your birth weight doesn't have anything to do about the size you are going to be when you grow up. Son is 6'2' and weighed 7 and DD is 4'11' and weighed 6 . Both the Maternal and Paternal Grandmothers were short but not the Grampas.

Oh, goodness, that poor dog, Bama! Sending hugs your way. I hope she finds a home before she does get hit by a car. I don't understand how people don't take care of their animals either. Our neighbor has goats and one day DD pulled into his driveway to tell him that his goats were out by the road (cute little things they are!). He said, "there is no food here for them; they need to go off to find food." DD said, "I'm afraid they'll be hit by a car." He says, "If they die, they die." Seriously? You've never heard of Goat Chow? What a knucklehead. I was trying to find someone to lure them off to a better home but no takers yet.

I'd better get back to list--will catch up with everyone else later.

Well nothing much day today here:) Got up too early I guess and it wasn't for going to work:) But, enjoyed some of it. Dh of course has been upstairs all afternoon since he got off work. Guess he needs to get his feet up etc. And watches the news which I can't stand so:) I made breakfast and I had a bowl of soup for afternoon so thats about it I guess. Got to get more water in but hurts teeth. I know, I need to call for appt. I told son and DIL I was watching the sun rise at the lower harbor on web cam minute by minute. She said she saw it when she went work as she works right at the lower harbor in office:) Lucky girl! I told her maybe sometimes if at same time, she can stand at corner and wave for a minute and I'll see her:) Might have mentioned this before but can't remember this morning's post:)
Oh, sorry Bama, I would probably have caught the dog, then call animal control if she would come nicely. Sure hope they can get her for her babies:( Sounds like they got them but not her and she's grieving for them and misses them? Wow, no stray dogs around here anymore anywhere. If one gets loose, seems right on fB and someone finds it for them. Hope you get some good dog laws there too:)
Mo, feel so sorry about those goats too! They make good lawnmowers right?:) Should be out in more private country really. Ask if anyone wants their grass cut and they could get one:) Not a very good owner for sure though. Hope you get a good sleep tonight and lots of good wishes for the test
Sue, hope your day went well also and you must be going shopping this week then? Best of luck in that also if you go soon! Sounds like a loud party there for sure! And security dogs too? Boy, Buddy Max would love to watch them hey? Hope it gets better there or they leave maybe. Have a good sleep night also.
Angii, hope your work and all are going very well also and I know your busy:) Thats good if your happy at it at least You all have a good night!! Suppose to maybe get to 45 tomorrow!! then 30's for a bit. Sure hope the humidity is not up there too.

What you could do if you have teeth problems, is mix a bit of hot water into the cold water, then if you have luke warm water it might reduce the sensitivity feelings you're getting in your teeth, at least until you can get checked out.

Either that or try to avoid chewing water .

Boss man, I do drink bottles of water as our water is not so good here and have them just out in room although their pretty cool as I have it cool in here:) So they are not Cold anyway and I try to warm them up also:) I never like cold with ice drinks anyway. If teeth hurt, I put some hot coffee in right after the water goes down And that does make them feel better. I know I have a cavity and it affecting a few teeth down there and I have tried oil pulling with coconut oil also to kill any bacteria in there also. Thanks for the tip though!! Have a good night

Not a lot going on here today . Sun is out so that is a good sign . Haven't seen any rain so far.

Busy week Dentist and Doctors , Then the eye doctor In April and then finished for 6 months .

Haven't seen the dog today but have been keeping a look eye for it . Such a pretty dog . We just can't have one with DH Allergies .

May do a little sewing today . I saw some things on face book that look interesting . So may attempt one of those projects .

Oh no Bama, the poor doggie and I sure hope they are able to get the doggie and hope both she and her babies find a good home. We had a similar situation here in one of our rural areas where the mother dog delivered her babies in a drain pipe and the local vet went and got her and the babies out and luckily they were all doing well.

Yikes Molasses, what a a-hole that guy is. There are all kinds of food for goats. Lots of our farm people here have them.

YAH mix your cold water with a bit of warm water and it won't hurt your mouth and yes I know the dentist....ready to take all of the money people have....boy ain't like it used to be.

Yes shopping tomorrow with Miss Terri. Nope I don't think Buddy would have been happy about those loud officers and the BIG dog LOL

I wouldn't know as Chuck so blithely told me I slept through the whole thing LOL I had taken an allergy pill.

I see a lot of appointments Bama, me too shortly and NOT happy about it...as you know not a doctor fan but I HAVE to go. At least I am still here to go. I have the doctors, find a dentist and eye doctor.

I am off to do morning checks, eat, vacuum and we will decide if we want to cook up some more meals for our dinners (C&S homemade frozen dinners LOL)

Good luck with all your appts, too, Bama. I've noticed that the FB group seems to have tapered off. I don't know if anyone posted anything at all yesterday. Not that I can say anything--I don't think I've ever started a post there, only commented on someone else's. It still just feels awkward to me, and now I'm afraid of accidentally posting in the "non-secret" place since I've already done that twice.

Thanks for all the good test wishes, YAH. Hugs on your toothache, and hope it's not a major problem. I see Sue and Boss Man both recommended warm water. Swishing your mouth with some warm salty water might help, too. That would be fun to see your DIL on the webcam.

Thanks on the appointments, Molasses. I hate doctors LOL but have to go....after saying to Chuck for years...I am fine....I'm fine and then the nightmare trip here and "I obviously was not fine"....he is like a bull dog especially anything that has to do with pulmonary etc.

No comment on FB LOL Sorry for you though on the postings on the non secret places.

Well I am off to go breathe and nap since I had a lot of weird dreams and was still tired from the other night, plus Chuck and I seem to get more tired with the time change, takes a while for our bodies to adjust.
