Not sure, but if you're carrying a lot of Water Retention, then one thing I have heard works supposedly quite well, is a product called Taraxtone.

Do you mean water depletion for an event such as bodybuilding? If that is indeed what you mean, I can fill you in, since I train competitors.

yes that's what I mean... I've heard it's something fitness models use to rip up that extra bit before a competition or show...

I was wondering
1) how it's done?- what you have to drink, eat, etc
2) would this be useful at all to an average person? I am 5'4, 130 lbs, 20%body fat... wondering if it will do anything for me... I know from looks-wise, I am very close to having visible abs (not neccesarily 6-pack, but a pack, nonetheless), and heard that this might give me that extra edge I need...

competition style wtaer depletion only works for about a week so your best to diet cleaner and train harder if not actually competing

The principle as I undestand it is, you drink about 12-15 glasses of water, one glass an hour, about 36 hours before contests, and then you don't drink again, so it flushes out a few more bits of stubborn Fat supposedly.

Teh problem can be though the timing. Competitors can end up with a soft watery kind of look, if they don't give themselves adequate time to expel all the water they drank.

In your case, I would say don't bother, just because it would be a temporary thing, and you don't want your Kidneys to be working that hard regularly, as it might not be good for them.
