How absurd that a divorced man couldn't marry you in a catholic church. If that's some kind of dictat by the catholic church that forbids such things, then I don't agree with it.

Tired and had another terrible night's sleep, stomach isn't doing well this a.m., and the toes on left foot are hurting too...so I will see how I make out this a.m.

Bossman, that is how the Catholic church works, or did back in the 70s, at least, if you divorced you need to get approval (papal dispensation) from the church. Didn't happen, so we got married by a JOP with dear in laws as witnesses and then in church since I am a Protestant.....Episcopalian and we don't have restrictions. In fact was called an Irish wedding with first being married by JOP and then in church. Everyone there other than inlaws and grandparents thought it was the only time we got married. Coming up to 40 years this year....so it worked LOL

Pop was a JP plus also a judge . We used to have court in our basement and Marriages in the Living room . LOL Remember seeing many people being fined or going to Jail and also a lot of weddings.. Wonderful memories . I remember Mom had to search some of the woman before they could come in . Thinks were different those many years ago.

Hi all, well I went to son's to wash clothes and all but his water is froze up so couldn't do anything with water. Their suppose to come tomorrow with arc welder to them up so he took day off to be there and middle son is doing his job of putting away the order as its the day to do that. And of course our water is drizzling out until we get a new deep well pump put in when it warms up.
Relaxed and watched tv and made a quick meal and had fun with the 2 cats over there who had to go out on porch for a bit with the sun shining on them at 1 pm. Got to 25 I think but going down now and snow expected tomorrow. Not too much I don't think.
Sue, I hope you got a good nap in and woke up feeling better? I have been sore too and not even been working since Fri. But tooth is bothering me more I think and I Know I have to go dentist:(

In relation to your post being forbidden Sue, programming work on aspects of the site happened quite some time back and as such some words or phrases, or combinations of words force a forbidden error message screen in order to hinder spamming activity.

You may have unwittingly used a word, or 2-3 words in a specific order that triggered this off.

I actually was given a list of all such blocked things a while back but I was in no real position to remember it, but there were explicit things listed among it and I feel foul of the system a few months back and it took ages to test segments of posting, before I finally realised it was three specific words in a row that had caused it.

So now you know. It wouldn't have been anything to do with your computer or any kind of OS or browser issue, but you accidentally triggering an anti-spam feature.

Oh how cool Bama, your dad was judge. I loved going to court and watching trials and everything about the law...hmmmmm watching Perry Mason made me want to be a legal secretary....just like Della Street LOL I was too, but decided not to go into criminal law after working in the environs for a while....not the same as the show in later years.

Sorry about the clothes washes, YAH and hope they show up today to your son's water. Glad you had a nice time with the cats and got to relax. I feel better today and slept well last night, YAH, thanks.

Gotcha Bossman, our last site had monitoring toward the end. Strange but Bama's post was just a normal one and none of those kind of words so don't know. Guess she won't be able to post it, nor me for her LOL

Morning all, yep Sue Dad was the highest paid in Ohio during his time . We had a lot of fun and when he was running for re-election we kids got to go with him though the neighborhood with the speaker on top of his car asking to be re elected. What fun and he was home all the time . Also I never saw dad in anything but Dress pants and white shirt . Course he did wear the suit jacket when he held court . No robes then .

I also tried to copy and paste message yesterday that was refused. I'm pretty sure I had no words in it that wouldn't be allowed. Oh Well, we will learn eventually. It was just telling about trip to Biloxi .

We just got back from Walmart . Had to have some more of those Strawberries as they were so good . Finished up the Crape myrtles . Ours don't usually bloom until June , July but they have to be trimmed back in February . We are a little late due to the colder winter we have had. At 10 am it was 70 degrees but another cold spell on Thursday . So Spring is trying to bloom . Neighbors Daffodils are in bloom

Yah, sorry about your Son's Water . Barbs water is froze up again too!! Hope you did find a few ideas for your .

Good day all! At least no call in. Was up early a few times though. It is starting to snow here but shouldn't get more than 5 in. at the most which is nothing;) Haven't heard from son yet so not sure about the water. At least its 20 above but NW wind a bit so makes it seem colder.

The problem is with the word censoring some words you might not think could be censored.

As I say I got caught out with a combination of 3 words that when used separately or without the third word added to the other two were perfectly fine, so you might have been caught out by a word or string of words that seem innocuous, but would have been off limits, because such words may have been misappropriated by internet spammers.

A bit frustrating I agree, but for everyone's increased peace of mind it is what it is .

Lots on tape today as it's good with dusting all the furniture, knick knacks and as you all know I have a LOT of them LOL as it's a Pledge day of the whole place, so lots of good cleaning involved.

Sounds like a lot of fun growing up Bama. I spent a lot of time with dad and grandma and mom. Dad was doing car stuff, machine stuff, painting and fixing things (I was part tomboy and girl) as mom made sure and instilled the love of cleaning and grandma was just grandma and tried to teach me to sew but just not forte LOL

I see you got more strawberries too...yummy.

YAH glad no call in but sorry about the snow...will blow hard so it melts.

Ohhhhh cute Chuck just showed by a pic/video on our Google Plus of a cat kissing both a guy made for his cat 25 cents and the guy was getting a kiss from his cat...oh and then a cat and a rabbit walking.

Well I am off to eat and dust dust dust.....ya ladies know what happens soon....yes yes yes....SPRING CLEANING......

Hi all, well I didn't go to son's house today as they Finally came to work on water after 10 a.m and took until about 3 pm to get it to work. They had to finally dig outside by house for arc to go stronger as it was frozen between road and house. Were about to give up for today when it came on!! Son will keep it running now! They said they've never had to come there before. It was free as outside of house. So he's washing clothes etc. so I figured not to go town at all so he can rest a bit too as he got up early yesterday and today and took these days off for them to come. Tomorrow Is is day off:) I'm sure middle son will be using washer and all then also as its his day off too. So I did little bit of stuff in washer which took a few hrs.
DB and SIL also popped in about 3 pm here. Guess they had driven to Marq. to look for something and then stopping at their son's on way home also as he has been off since the accident with Boot on his foot. He see's Dr. on the 10th. His big gash is on side of head, not his forehead. I have them newspaper to show him as the girl who so far is still paralyzed from breastbone down was on front page of it with the hockey team visiting her in hospital. She's from Wisc. and a fund is out for her. Hoping she still gets to walk some day though as she has had some tingling in toes sometimes and it takes time also. Why she would swerve as a piece of ice off her own vehicle hit her windshield, I'll never know:(
Well we didn't get much snow and wind did pick up and it threw it around but a very cold day today so didn't really feel like going out. Sun was out part of the day also. A tiny bit warmer tomorrow and then a little warmer each day. Keep blowing Sue! Don't blow any dust over here as I have enough though I've got rid of most of knick knacks though. Getting rid of so much and wishing I could just throw it all away and start over with only what I use. Can't wait until I can haul some Out!

Good Morning ,
Not a lot planned here today . Just the same old same old . Some bills to pay , big ones Home insurance which is really high here I think due to Hurricanes etc. and then of course good old April for Taxes but it is what it is . Lucy and Ethel are busy and then I need to do a little picking up in the house . Nothing major . So the same old unexciting day . LOL.

Nothing exciting going on over on WOW on Face book for those of you that didn't join . Most of the members were gals that were with us years ago , such as Birdie , Lisa , Carm , Scully and a couple I don't remember . I check in now and then .

Time to move on I need to make a run to Sam's today . You know we go somewhere everyday almost . Everything is so close here that it only take 5 minutes to get to most places at the most 10 . The town is on a Circle so you also can't get lost . LOL. And we have no bad road conditions since we don't get any snow so it's pretty easy to get out of the house for a while. Other than major construction on our main drag which is the circle . they are widening it to handle all the traffic from Georgia and Florida . We are a small town but we service a lot of other towns in each state.

Good day all! Couldn't believe it was 32 below 0 this morning again! Thought those were over. Called son to make sure his water is still going and it is. Sure hope it warms up more although I suppose the nights are still going to be cold so the frost goes deeper too:( Just wish it would really warm up to get our deep well pump in so we could have normal water flow. Maybe end of March or April I suppose.
Bama, nice to have all those stores within 5 min. there! Wish it was like that here:( I probably will not go anywhere again. Sons both have day off today so I imagine their washing clothes and who knows so I hate to keep them from doing whatever. I always say do whatever as they know I Love getting out of this place but maybe tomorrow i'll go there and older son gets off earlier. They have to work the weekend. Glad not to work but hate too long not working and then next week I work more and its hard getting back to it after too many days off.
Its sunny and about 5 above now so maybe warmer next week, not sure. I see a Lot of snow in Kentucky even and places that just don't get that much snow but none came here. Its sunny but not that warm and a wind out there.
