Hi again ladies,
Oh Bama, Chris said it first, and I see you picked up on that. As for Netflix, we don't belong any longer we quit a while back now. Guess you forgot LOL
Very cool and foggy and damp and just not nice here today either Bama....cloud cover and fog never lifted today.
Oh well this too shall pass soon and before we know it, it will be in the 70s and 80s and then the 90s and 100s (now those are kind of temps...I can go outside and get warm while hubby deep freezes the apartment....hence sweaters being out year round LOL
Well off to nap like, like you Bama, tired today.
Have a wonderful evening and weekend everyone,
Sue

Good Morning and Happy Saturday Sisters,
Yes Sue , I did forget about Netflix. We still belong but we use the streamer .
Well I am going to be preparing for the Company . Always something to do. We are attending the after effects of a Sweet 16 birthday party for Nikki who is Marie DD . Marie is taking her and 5 of her friends to have their nails done and to shop at the mall and then to lunch and we have been invited to come over for cupcakes after all of that . Which is good as you know I don't like crowds.
I need a drumroll Please !!!!! I did 5 miles this morning . I must have been out of mind but I just kept going . These walks also consisted of using the Band for a few leg and arm moves. Anyway I already have 10000 steps in for the day . Curious to see how many I will have by the end of the day .
Well everyone enjoy your week end. ( Prevention is not coming up for me again. )

Yup, I think our old stomping ground has been razed, Bama. I just hope Dianna will join us here. Marvelous workout for you, toots!
Enjoy your cupcake party!
I see you've been getting in some good workouts, too, Sue. I love the BeeGees. Not the Stayin' Alive disco stuff so much as the slower songs like Massachusetts, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, To Love Somebody. . . .
Hope your Girls' Night Out was fun, Chris, and you have a nice weekend with your family.
I still haven't seen Mamma Mia. Guess I should check it out.
I did some strength training this morning: goblet squats, front and back lunges, deadlifts, bent over rows, chest press, and some planks.
Happy Saturday, Sweat Sisters~

Yes, I thing our old stumping ground is gone.
I just had to stop by and tell you what a nice time we had at the Party. It was fun lots of their family there . Very enjoyable and you know I don't like crowds but it was fun.
The other reason I stopped in was to tell you that i WALKED 8 MILES today . Yes I did . That was all day until 6 30ish . I got in over 18000 steps according to fitbit and used 2000+ calories . I would like to have had more calories but it is what it is .
Great worklout MO. You too Sue .. We are all doing super good .
OH golly someone told me about a new work out . You will have to google it. It does look like fun . It's called Drum Cardio Check it out there are several workouts on you tube .
Have a great Sunday everyone .
Let's hope that Dianna joins us here . Sue you have her address so send her an email

Re: Sisters in Sweat Journal (but all are welcome)
Be proud of that Alabama, because you're doing great and I'm proud of you for never forgetting what you're worth and the value that being so good to yourself can have.
When it comes down to it, you ARE worth it and so is the time and effort you put into yourself.

Morning sisters,
Bama, so glad you had such a nice time. I will check YouTube for the workout but I am thinking way beyond capabilities now... oxygen levels are having issues lately so will be seeing pulmonary doctor earlier than I thought.
You deserved that award Bama, and I did email Dianna already.
Well I am off to "me day" and next time you will hear from me with smell all cherry blossomy LOL
Have a great Sunday ladies,
Sue

Good morning (barely!), Sweat Sisters,
Baron Baptiste Power Yoga Level One for me this morning. Feeling back again, so I think I'll be doing lots of yoga this week.
I'm sorry about your breathing problems, Sue, and hope your doctor can tweak your medication to prevent them. Sending hugs, because I know that must be scary for you.
Holy moly, Miss Bama, you truly do rock! 18000 steps!
I will have to google drum cardio; I've never heard of it. Glad you had a good time at the Sweet 16.
I agree, Boss Man--working out and eating well is actually "being good to yourself." So many people seem to think of it as a punishment.
Have a great Sunday, everyone~

Re: Sisters in Sweat Journal (but all are welcome)
Good Monday Morning All,
Well I did have a great girls night with talking and laughing and catching up. The weekend was fabulous as well. I woke up so early on saturday morning I used the extra time to make a plan for March. So I am ready to go with that. It was so nice and warm yesterday (0C,32F) I worked away at shovelling off the deck and once that was done I set up a chair, got out book and a hot chocolate and enjoyed listening to the birds sing their spring songs. Made me want to have spring start up. Today 20 minute walk to start the day.
Sue sorry about the breathing problems!
I hope your doctor can get things levelled out again soon. Keep us in the loop. Great workouts last week!
Bama great walking gal!
Sounds like you are really grooving it out.
Ouch on the back FitMo.
I hope the yoga does the trick. You be careful if you are doing any lifting with DA.
Angii, I hope all is going well and you are doing well with your challenge.
Dianna hope to see you soon.
BBL!

Morning sisters,
On tap for today Mari Winsor 20 minute Pilates workout and Evening workout walking/jogging in place/dancing
Thanks on the wishes for the oxygen issues Bossman.
Angii, hope all is going well, looking forward to hearing from you.
Dianna, just wanted to say HI and know we miss you.....
Glad the girl's night out was so much fun, Chris. I miss those. Glad the weekend went s well too and yes, I have to get March plans set too as hubby's birthday is Thursday, the BIG 65 so have "stuff I have to do" for him yet....a nice big sign, his cards, etc.
Wow 32 is balmy weather...glad I warmed up a bit. I see you got a shoveling workout done yesterday. Love the picture you painted with the chair, book and the birds singing. So what ya reading????
Great workout today.
Thanks Chris, yes, pulmonologist is a very very "good" one and very well known here in CA, she has been a God send for me as she was on call the day I went by ambulance to UMC and while it took them a long time of figure out what was wrong as all the normal stuff....emphysema, COPD, etc that Chuck and I thought too knowing I had smoked and what comes from it. But as Chuck said, of course, I had a very rare disease (leave it to me LOL) so they had to do a lung biopsy and off the Mayo clinic it went. The funniest thing is that "me and cords" of all types don't get along so the irony is having one in nose 24/7 LOL
Such is life, I am still here and breathing and will go from there.
Going to finish the week with Mari, Chris and do the second half band workout I had down for weeks 3 and 4 for March.
Great workout this a.m. Bama and have fun with the company today. Thanks on the breathing. Good luck at the store.
Well off to get the day started, it's shopping list day, but at least we have Terri taking for this one.

Hello Again, I did get a 30 minute walking at lunch. The wind has picked up here and we are headed for a deep freeze so I thought I would get out before it was too bad.
Enjoy your workout Sue! Sounds like you will have fun peeping for DH big day. I am reading a Rick Riordian book, House Of Hades. DH and son keep getting ahead of me.
Great workout Bama! Enjoy your company.
Later All!
